Ebay sellers beware i sold a p90x on ebay last night it sold for $90 i was wondering why the buyer by the name bigfishcatch2010 was out bidding everyone and it made me curious so i tried to see the feedback they had and it was private so i didn't think to much of it ironicly once they won the item i went to send an invoice and noticed that they had a phone number so i blocked my number and called someone answered but didn't say anything so i hung up, this morning i was going to send the invoice again and got curious so i called the number again and guess who answered (law offices)

Hmm have you searched these forums? I think Jeffweico put that name up from my memory way way back about suspected individuals catching people peddling these wares.

Johnson & Pham represents P90X their law offices are in Woodland Hills, CA. That address you were given is in the very near area, so either someone that works for them or an agent. They are the monsters of copyright infringement law firms. You did well to be vigilant but they may still come after your eBay account directly though.

I honestly never saw the appeal of P90X, the profit margins are not that great - I mean they might be if everybody sold retail price but all you see is hundreds and hundreds of listings at a third retail, I never understood lowering your prices that much.

i did a reverse search on the phone number and its registered in woodland hills, what type of items do you recommend selling MadSam that can make a decent profit?

This is a new one. And I definitely recommend that NOBODY sell counterfeits. Especially NOT the P90X. Because the truth is, undercover buyers can be anywhere - from any city or state - there is no requirement that they use the address or phone number of a law firm.

Yea I gave up on selling p90x on ebay, i had 20 of them sitting in my living room forever. I started putting them on cra*$list and I had to lower the price to $50. They are selling fast....only 10 left.

And to the guy who says non vero items...lol easier said than done!

Could listing P90x with special characters in between p90x like tm ( trademark ) get you suspended without a single policy violation?

I had a letter while back come in mail from the law firm that represents them. They wanted me to pay them $800 some dollars in damages and tell them how many DVDs I have sold and if I had any remaining ones left to mail it to them. If I don't do any of the above they will sue me. haha! I never sent or replied back to the letter so they couldn't do squat! Only way they get you is if you do the above as stated! Anyone with brains would think twice before surrendering themselves to some lawyers.

also... want to state anyone that is importing p90x from China and customs takes it they will try to go after you that way as well! so be-careful!

I received one of the Johnson & Pham letters recently which led me to this site. I dug through my records and found I sold to that person at that address. They were using the user id resale2011.

I also sold to that person in the past and received a noticed from them as well.

Johnson & Pham represents a lot more than just P90X and they have more than ONE undercover buyer and address.

The simple fact is, if you sell their client's products on eBay or Amazon, and they are counterfeit, eventually you will draw their attention.

Simple solution: don't sell counterfeits.
