advice bought a tv but faulty

hi guys just wanted some advice.

i bought a used 50" plasma off a seller on ebay.

guy stated the tv was in perfect working order no faults etc so i bought tv and had it delivered.

however when i got tv i noticed theres a problem with the picture.:tears:

i emailed the seller and he said the tv was perfect and never been messed with or took apart.

however on closer inspection i noticed the original warrenty sticker had been removed off the back of tv and from looking through the back tv vent with a flashlight i noticed theres a screw missing out of the power supply board inside!!

i email the seller again telling him the tv has been previously took apart but he still says the tv was perfect and never been took apart since new.

however i have seen with my own eyes its clearly been took apart.

just wanted some advice what to do or where i stand on this as im not happy as paid alot for the tv and i have been clearly sold a faulty tv which has been clearly took apart and the seller knows this but he denys all.

i paid by paypal for this tv so not sure what i should do here.

Since you have already contacted the buyer and tried to resolve the problem and he refuses then I would go ahead and file a claim with Ebay buyer protection or with Paypal to get your money back.

do a SND dispute and ask for return and refund, it would help if he was business seller, but even if he isnt, you should win it. return it with tracking.

:faint: Zippy, did you check the listing before the purchase?
Was there a refund policy because if the seller is acting like this, sounds like there is none.
Advise the seller he's got 72 hours to accept the return of the TV or you claim. Then go from there :spy:
