If you owe money, PP can take funds right out of your bank account.

If you think their gonna do this, close your bank account.

It's up to you. Is there money in this paypal account? I would leave the bank account open if you intend to withdraw funds after 180 days.

Now the balance is 0.

I am afraid the balance will become negative later, because of chargebacks.

What can PAYPAL do with a linked but CLOSED bank account?

Will they find out or CAN they find out who is behind the bank account?

The FBI can.

Before this thread goes hay wire, keep it simple. I would close the bank account and move on... start over with a new account.

Um, paypal do not take 'cash'. They take FUNDS.
Now here's the catch22, as First Edition hinted. What do you think paypal is going to do about monies they think they have a right to claim?

Often, I remove bank account or close paypal before paypal limits me.

It is a bad idea to leave a negative-balance PP with a valid bank account.

I owed $1100 on a Paypal account but I linked it with those prepaid debit card banks. So far nothing has happened to me and it's been months. And yes I did close the prepaid debit account when they limited me.
