Stigger 12-28-2010 05:27 AM

mark2be 12-28-2010 06:00 PM

thx bro happy new year

Bang 12-28-2010 06:03 PM

I say log out AND change IP address lol

holymoly 12-29-2010 01:52 PM

I never log out...just clear cookies/flash does the same thing. Go to gmail. clear your history. Watch how they make you log in again.

Same thing w/ eGay.

Can someone confirm about it again. I always use "switch user". Can you reassure me that it's still safe to use this option instead of log off.

Ace717 02-10-2011 04:14 PM

I would like to know this as well. I have been using switch user instead of log off.

rsot 02-10-2011 04:26 PM

I switch users all the time for both eb ay and am az on and have been ok with the accounts (my own experience)

BlackberryGuy 02-10-2011 08:44 PM

I do log off, change my IP and restart the modem

turkeyhunt 02-10-2011 09:03 PM

I just log off. I don't switch -- especially if I am logging into ebay/pp. But I have forgotten and just switched - no harm done. I just prefer to be extra cautious.

oompaloompa 02-11-2011 03:40 PM

its best to log off, switch user, change ip. BUT once you change ip anyway it terminates connection to the ebay/pp anyhow if you forget.

you can do this but if you make a mistake you will kick yourself for trying to save time.

a lil time saved isnt worth the time to rebuild you a solid account imo:doh:

BlackberryGuy 02-11-2011 10:34 PM

Yes, I'm thinking the same way.

Log into your router and change your mac address then save the changes. Then reboot your modem, your isp will then issue you a new ip address
