Remember when non paying buyers would contact you....

Used to be if a buyer bought and couldn't pay for a few days they were quick to send you a note. Now they just let you site. "Whatever, nothing can happen to me"

$600+ in sold items sitting for 3 going on 4 days now. I find it insulting they feel they can just deal with it at their leisure. Can only send invoice reminder so many times... I never jump the gun on canceling sale because almost every time they pay within 5 days. And they are stock items so I don't need to relist... But it pisses me off the buyer is so in control now they cant even bother to drop a note anymore. I find less and less respect from buyers every day. A quick note would be a nice gesture. But nope. They just pay whenever [Then complain delivery is slow]

Same buyer too that rolls on here pissing and moaning they were banned from eBay for too many unpaid strikes. Not sure how bad you have to be before they toss you, but I think its quit a few.

end rant

What until you get an actual stalker, then these non-payers won't seem like such a big deal :ranger:

GreenBean 12-31-2010 08:35 PM

Disagree,Melissa. Anyone that shows a lack of respect makes it a big deal.

A stalker is terrible, a non-payer is terrible and a seller scamming is the same.

Why? Because every human is entitled to be treated with decency.

I'm involved on another forum (sporting). One of the users there has had threats made against his grand-children. That's so wrong.

Once we start to 'qualify' what is good, what is bad, then we become no better than a rabble crowd.

Let's hope for a better 2011

May the buyers pay quickly
May stalkers get lost
And may we all be safe

I'll take a non payer over a stalker any day. I've had my share of ex-crazies. But never any threat of harm [real one that is, I think]

Agreed I've had some horrible buyers in the past but so far none life threatening lol

I'll take a stalker if it is Jennifer Aniston!

I personally don't care if someone stalks me as long as I gets paid. :behindsofa:

Melissa1971 01-02-2011 01:15 AM

Although I don't like not being paid, it's a whole different ballgame than a stalker. We had to disconnect our home telephone number which we didn't necessarily need since we have two landlines in the house. It could have been alot worse, so I feel fortunate :humble: Really appreciate the good buyers now. Live and learn
