ip address problem1

I just changed my ip address, confirmed that it was changed on ipbuger(an address that i have never used before) then signed into start a new account on ebay. When i went to hit the activate the account button, up came an item i was looking at earlier on a completely differnt ip address. How is this possible? Now I am afraid to go back into the account and begin using it! AM I SCREWED AGAIN???

What you need to do is create a new user on your computer. Every user has separate cookies/flash cookies. If you do this, then it won't show any of the previous items you were looking at because you've made a clean slate.

download firefox and then download the privacy plus add on.

or as stickmade says use a fresh user account and stop eb ay from wondering why you dont have flash cookies.

both work anyhow but i guess the second option is less likely to draw attention.

I see you the stealth book. Did you read it? If so I'd suggest you reread. You missed the whole part about cookies and flash cookies...

Stickmade is correct. You need to make a new user account for each account(also in the stealth guide)..

On the subject of this:

Does anyone know how to go about having a different IP for each user account on windows without having to reebot the router everytime i change users?

Im worried about catching a duplicate IP for a user account as im reebooting so often switching between accounts.

Thanks

lucrative, If the method you are using now is working, I wouldn't change it. Just keep track of your ips. If you get a duplicate ip then reboot the router and get a new one. :typing:

Well if you are seeing items from the past IP. You may not have deleted your flash/cookies.

Recheck that (unless you are using seperate user logins)
