Have EIN, but still cant get business bank account, even if I go LLC
 

Hi,

Thank You to the writers of eBay stealth.
This is my first time posting on the forum, but I have used your book and visited here many times for help before becoming a member.

Last week I opened four new personal bank accounts, two brick & mortor, and two Meta.

I also opened a new merchant account in my DBA/real name and linked it to one of my new bank accounts. (I have my ein, but still couldn't get a business bank account, even if I go llc, fico too low, no paydex)

Right now, I just received all the checking/routing number information and debt cards, and my merchant account's first billing statement. Everything was mailed to my new home address in my name.

I was going to use a local mailbox etc, a phone redirect service, a gift card, and a name variation for a new pp and eb account, but I was reading in stealth, that most sellers "suggest" getting a pp account while waiting for merchant account approval to look more reputable.

Will going straight to eb &payflow next work for me, I dont want to make any stupid mistakes.

Any help and direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Open business bank account with bank of America. They will do it with a smile, just have the $100 deposit to open the account .

Why can you not open a business account if you have the paperwork? What stopped those banks from doing it for you? :peace:

Wells Fargo said my FICO score is too low, 626. and the DBA is always going to connected to my personal SSN. He said if I were to go the LLC route, it would most likely result in me being denied as well.
