Got hit with MC010 listing some big items... lets see how it goes..

T&S: which one of these cities did you live in your name?

Me: I stayed in XXX for 3 weeks than moved back to XXX.

T&S: Well have you had any in your name when you lived there?

Me: No, I stayed with a friend.

T&S: Ok I'll just click "none of the above"

T&S: Next question is something like the last one.. Which one of these zips did you live?

Me: None of those zips however I do go to XXX for holidays to visit family. I only lived in XXX and XXX and XXX.

T&S: Ok I'm going to go ahead and click none of the above and submit these answers. I'm going to go ahead and remove the hold from your account. (eBay random talk *thank you blah blah blah*)


So basically when you get hit with MC010, just play it cool, act concerned and try to add a bit of small talk. Even if you fail the questions (like I obviously did) 9./10 holds will be removed.

Act like a new person, not like your a pro at this and everything will be fine. No need to sweat over an MC010.

Yeah none of the above usually works, what's funny is the last time I called, I not only passed all the questions but the guy was looking at my auctions and asked who my supplier was and I said dhgate, the guy chuckled and reinstated me lol.

I blocked the number because it's suspended lol

What number did you call ebay on? You know blocking doesn't work on 800 numbers right?

I used a suspended number... omgish.... lol silly me.

It's cool though, that account is going strong, just got hit with MC069 and limited from selling that item for the next 30 days Grrr.

Yeah, but whenever I pass those things. Limits usually happen shortly there after to provide ID, bill, etc.

I had the funniest experience the other day, an account was registered under a women's name and I called to confirm (im a guy) and so this asian women on ebay support says hello, i say hello and she says can i speak with "lisa" im like yes this is lisa and she just begins cracking up and i start cracking up too and then she was like sorry so sorry... i was dying if you just heard her voice asking me the questions it was the funniest thing ever you could tell she wanted to laugh so bad

What happened to the account 123? Ha - was she so amused she let it pass?

lmao no I answered none of the above to all the question then we went back on ebay live chat and she said unfortunately we couldn't verify your identity with the question so we will need you to upload photo id to us and my response was "awesome!!! did you like my sexy voice?"


oh and i forgot to mention another funny part before the phone call we were on ebay chat and I said this is not Lisa this is her husband shes at work, cause I knew she would call in a couple mins and she said sorry for security purposes we need to talk to lisa please try again later today when she home and i was like "no wait... lisa is on now" so that made the phone call even funnier :lol:
