Uk Paypal Business Account Question
 

Okay, I currently have 2 stealth accounts (ebay+paypal)

Im thinking of opening a 3rd paypal account only, for an ecommerce site. Will it make a difference if I open as personal, premier or business account.

If I open as a business account will I be likely to be asked for ID etc, even if im not dealing with ebay on this paypal account? Or would it be best to keep as premier?

you are at no more risk of getting asked for ID for premier as business, but you will be asked for ID possibly at EU limit and also due to volume and other issues, so be prepared with it regardless.......

well I have means and ways of lifting the limits. I mean once the account is fully verified,is there a chance further ID could be asked for?

Lets say that my "business" is for a service. This means they can't ask for supplier invoices etc as techincally my product is "electronic". Would I be correct in saying this?

what are you going to do when they limit your account, how are you going to take payments on your site ?

i would just go with another option straight away but if you must use pp on your site i would use e-junkie so PP dont know what site the payments are comming from

If you using paypal for ecommerce, go with premier or business. It gives you an extra layer of usability. Do be prepared for the possibility of supplying ID. That said, a carefully run account should not be problematic. I have a dedicated business account, completely off ebay, which works well.
In terms of moving funds around, both premier & business paypal accounts have more advantages imo. :pop2:
