Default NON-high risk category...am I good to go?

I just got my stealth account all setup (using the book) and am all set to go. My question is, If list in a category that "I believe" is very low risk, house hold good...I sale wedding items like napkins, tablecloths, chair covers etc. do I still need to let the account sit for a month or two? My average sale is $150-$200 however I have lower priced items I could list for $15-$50. Should I start with those first?

Yes start with the low price items first. Yes, go slow - buy a few things, don't just list right away - I would recommend 3 weeks'ish but some folx have been succeeding by starting up from the get-go. Still, that's risky.

Definitely the low priced stuff first.

And like rsot said...buy some items. Get your shipping supplies and such.

I usually wait about 2-3 weeks before I list my 1st item. Usually something trivial from around the house, then wait a couple days and add another trinket or 2.

Just go slow and steady with buying and selling.

You'll be fine.

Also, if this is your main business and you intend to keep at this for a long time, I would suggest you set up auxiliary accounts - spread your sales. Not only will you have more accounts with excellent standing, if one account goes down then you won't be stuck in a bind with restarting. I remember your other thread about 2 accounts (I think) - think along those lines and spread wide.
