Paypal Limited On First Purchase?
 

I am working with a stealth ebay and paypal account. Made my first ebay purchase (2 orders of serger thread) total of $8.00. Went to go make the payment using paypal and got an e-mail saying:

"We need your help resolving an issue with your account. To give us time to
work together on this, we've temporarily limited what you can do with your
account until the issue is resolved.

We understand it may be frustrating not to have full access to your PayPal
account. We want to work with you to get your account back to normal as
quickly as possible.

What's the problem?

We noticed some unusual activity in the bank account linked to your PayPal
account."

When I log on to paypal to fix the issues I am told I need to do the following?

1. Confirm your Bank Account:
2. Confirm your location
3. Confirm your Identity

When I click on each of the items it takes me to a section to add a credit card to my account. Is that all they want is a credit card? Also since this is a stealth account can I by a VCC with an address that link?

I am under a completely different IP address and user ID?

First place to start is give them what they ask for. They do limit accounts sometimes just as a security precaution. It may not be anything to sweat over yet.

I would try a VCC to start and go from there

paypal is being mean with accounts. I've noticed in past years, that right after the holidays, they are nasty for quite a while. Seems you got picked on :tears:

I find it better to buy on a fully verified paypal account. In other words, before I use the account I get every attached that should be attached, get that confirmed, verified and go from there. :peace:
