Dont you guys think this site gives out too much info?

Is ebay/pp not watching this?

Red X 01-21-2011 03:23 PM

Yep, we have a few spies every now, and then. Also, theres some information that we are not posting in public, so i'd have to say this site is giving out "enough" information to help others get back on ebay/amazon, which is the purpose of this forum, but theres also some things that we keep to ourselves.

Also theres not that much ebay and paypal can do, most of us advanced members can pretty much form multiple brand new computer images on a single pc, each unique in every way and getting a new ip is easy so is a vcc and bank etc.. So really its kind of impossible for ebay and paypal to start banning people that have no connection to prior accounts. Unless they start enforcing some new ridiculous rules which would hurt their bottom line and block legitimate new sellers.

I also think talking about it gives it too much space.

We do what we have to do to be stealth.
We need to practise discretion :pop2:

amazonian 01-21-2011 09:36 PM

I agree. I think there is plenty of information that is not spoken around here. You have to read between the lines a bit on some issues I think.

There are even questions that I want to ask but haven't because of who may be reading it. I don't want to ruin a good thing. I have a feeling it will fall apart at some point and I will post then.

Javelin 01-23-2011 01:00 PM

Exactly.

Been wondering that too for awhile....
Wondering if them Ebay and Paypal eyes are watching us.
Watching what we say, the information we give out,
and how we are trying to fight their ultra oppressive rules and regulations...

Also, its a given there are "spies" amongst us,
but wouldn't ya think they have probably bought and paid for aspkin's
Ebay Stealth and Amazon Ghosts guides too?
And are using it to understand how to combat our ways?

Is there a way for aspkin to lock out these so called "spies"
and ban them from ever joining the forum?
We members of the forum need to be protected from them as well,
as the way they protect their e-commerce sites from us.

I hope I am not saying too much here that might not be considered safe....
If it is, please mods delete my post. I do not want anybody else except
the fair and decent people of this forum who are here legitimately
in reading this. Let us protect the information in this site!

spies aren't always bad.

Bang 01-23-2011 02:23 PM

I personally think that it's way too much information out in the open. Unless there's some other information we don't know about. I'm pretty sure eBay and other sites bought the stealth book and studied it as well.

doughboykilla 01-23-2011 02:42 PM

You can bet money they have bought the stelth guide. Most stuff in the gudie can been found online so ebay would probly know about it anyway. there is stuff we know about thats not in the guide stuff that only a select few members know this stuff ebay wont know about :D

and there are spies here and also snitchs take for example when we found a way to use the paypal plug in to cash out paypals it was like a week later Pp made u up your ssn to use the plug-in then later on after no one used it cause they would'nt up the ssn like paypal had thought so they got rid of it. Paypals dumb mistake killed there idea. Theres alot of ways they can fix stuff but in the end they would only be hurting there selfs cause they will lose money and customers.

unfortunately theres no way to block these cowardly spies from joining the site or buying the stelth gudies cause these spies are every day monkeys who works for ebay so there ips will be same as every one else and theres no way to tell a spy from a every day joe.

For a long time I wasn't even sure if this site was for real.

I suspected it was full of sockpuppets because of so much "Aspkin Praise", and so many referrals to his ebooks upon what it seemed every other question asked. Wondered if it was set up by Amazon or Ebay for a while, then thought it was just a sales pitch, then slowly came around to know it for what it is. Not sure why I stuck around, but I'm glad I did! :amen:

It probably doesn't matter if they are here, I mean it is probably good they realize the people they are often hurting are human. Their blood is the same color, and following job procedures (even if you agreed to it) is not always the moral thing to do.

Seems this same question is asked every week or so..

Who needs spies when everything you want to know about eBay (stealth) and Amazon is in this forum and mostly in the open? I try and keep sensitive details in the subscribers area or higher but the more members we have the harder it is to control such content. And I'm not trying to silence people.. far from it. It's simply the nature of the beast.. to have the content and information we all come to enjoy requires an an open forum.

Just try and keep the sensitive discussions in the subscriber's area and make it a little easier on me. I know having access to this section isn't hard to get, but it's a step in the right direction.
