Default Musings about paypal

I was thinking maybe if we shared our stories on how we got limited it would help others not to make the same mistakes........so here is my story!

I sold a Vero item and it went thru without a hitch, great!!!! Then I sold one or two more with no problems.

Then one day I sold one (buy it now) so I listed another, sold it.....well I sold 8 of them in one day all buy it now even though I had them listed as auctions. So here I was happier then a pig in the mud that I just made $1600 on a $640 investment. Since my bank account and paypal were linked thru a paypal debit card I figured no big deal if I withdrawl being I could refund straight from my bank account if need be and withdrew the money leaving like $100 in my paypal account.

Next day the withdrawl is reversed and I am limited to provide, id, utility bill, invoices and tracking numbers.

Moral of the story is
A. Before you even think of selling on Ebay buy eBay Stealth (unfortuantly it takes being limited to end up here)

B.If you sell vero dont list 9 on the same account, list 1 on each of your 2949 stealth accounts.

c. dont withdrawl any money until the shipment is delivered and probably to be safe a few days after.

4. Get, make, obtain invoices for all your sales before you list the items!!!!
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

Thanks for the tips. I personally never used my real information because of my age but...

I been limited because I bought a ton of gold (video game gold) from Chinese gold farmers for a popular video game and I left PayPal with the tab. Total I probably owe PayPal like 6k, all in game gold lol.

I remember I called PayPal one day (because I didn't know about linking at the time) and I pretend to be a non-english speaking Arab.. They slapped me with the 180 we no longer do business with you bullshyt lol

"Me no underdtood uuuu!!! WHY ME ac**** iz lockedddd?? " lol

Although your story is well-received, (not to be a sore thumb or anything), this has all been well-written out in so many posts =( You could have averted a lot of disaster with some patience...ah well, live and learn.

All the best.

Understood, sometimes I just get a better understanding of what I did and could have done different while writing it out. I am sorry if I beat the dead horse!

Not a problem at all - sometimes you have to live it to understand it =) I have been there before this forum so I hear you. But yes - key important points are to go slow and do NOT withdraw until pending orders are received/tracking/feedback/etc. + not draining your pa yp al balance completely.

Knowledge is power. If this helps you work out your mistakes good. It is redundant, but you are learning from your mistakes and thats all good
