Craiglist Payment Type Paypal

Hm, so check this out guys. Could use some opinions.
So I buy/Resell Iphone 4s
I have about 10 in Stock, I sell them via Cragilist.
I met with a interested buyer in person, he seemed interested and legit.
He said he'll contact me when he gets paid in a week.
Well, he contacted me and he's out in New Jersey for about 2 months visiting his father who is sick.
He even took pictures of himself, with street names and what not even the time+date on a piece of paper.
Seems so far legit to me, well.
The payment option we only have it Paypal.
He's not interested in Bank Wire & I'm not interested in Money Orders ( fraud )

He's going to spend about 5k for the 10, now obviously the tricky part is the payment type.

My Paypal account is only about 1 month old, I have never accepted any payment via paypal with this account, I just buy items.

It's even upgraded to a Business accnt. Does anyone else Smell a big slap of " LIMITATION " in my face.?

What do you guys recommend? Accept Multiple payments of smaller amounts?

Yeah 5k on a month old paypal would be no good, I would try to get him to pay WU, but I doubt if he would it sounds like a scam to me, lot's of scam buyers on craigslist.

A limitation is the least of your worries if you complete this transaction.

Ok - first of all why use Paypal for this amount of money? That's a no no and electronics too, yikes - run indeed.

Second, in your shoes, I would accept US Postal Money Order and wait for it clear and verify to be genuine. If he is not up for that, well, then it's an easy no.

Don't be tempted by cash sales like this - the fact that you are asking for opinions on this makes me wonder if dealing iPhones is the thing to do.

But all the best.

I wouldn't trust this guy, you both meet, now all of a sudden he's in a completely different state lol................ Reminds me of a seller who tried to scam me out of buying 500 blurays for $200 stating that his uncle was sick, and that he needed the money asap, which was the reason hes selling them so low. I asked him to send me a pic, which he did, but the picture was very small. I did my research, and saw the same pic on ebay which was much larger with the sellers name in the picture, lol.
