Quick question..
 

So i have a buyer account and its got all my real details in it, including my real CC and phonenumbers, address etc.. its all real info.. As its my buying Account!

What i want to know is.. if i delete my cc from that account and then close the account will i be able to open another buyers account with the same info and card etc ?

The balance in the account is £0.00.

Just phone up the bank and tell them you've bent the card and can they send you a new one.

They'll send you a nice new shiny card with a new number!

Oh yeah i know that, but i dont need to do that..

Im just wondering out of curiosity if i can essentially delete my current card from the account and then close the account and then open another one up with the exact same details purely for buying.. im not looking to sell.

I'm not 100% sure, but I highly doubt it.

I know with bank accounts they can only be used once. I presume its the same with Credit/Debit cards.

eB dont seem to fussed with buying accounts just selling accounts, i set one up myself in banned info to test this and its still open today. I guess like most things with eB though it could just get closed down the line

It hasn't got a bank account in it, just a CC..

As someone else said I don't think ebay care how many accounts you have open until you start to sell.

I don't even think you will need to close down the other account. Easy way to find out is to try open a second account.

Paypal on the other hand would be different but ebay is not that fussy.

Not sure I understand why? If you close an account and try reopen one with all the same info, it will be the same account.

In any case, you cant really delete info. Meaning they always have it on file. So they wont allow card and bank to be used again. Even if its deleted

Ebay will allow it, it is only paypal that stop you using the same card on more than one account.

There are sellers on here that have three seller accounts to one paypal with all the same data.

And they are much easier again on buyers accounts.

One point though if the OP is trying to get round someones BBL using a new account, then all the seller will have to do is point that out to ebay and both accounts will be closed.

i dont, i was just wondering if you could.. as i know that it cant be done with sellers accounts so i was just wondering what happend if you tried it with buyers accounts.

Buyers accounts work on the same principle as sellers accounts. Deletion of info only happens at your end. What is deleted is still within ebay's tentacles.
