PayPal will ask for LLC Member info or not? What do I tell them legally?
 

So I have read through 80% of this forum, but still can not find a definite answer from anyone.

When I setup a PP business account for my LLC and PP calls and asks who the members are what can I legally say? PP has to send tax information to the IRS so they would require the member information I am giving them match up exact with my LLC information (correct me if I am wrong), so giving them a DBA name would not match up with the name on the LLC triggering a limitation, giving incorrect members wouldn't match up and is illegal (correct me if I am wrong), and giving PP my real name on the LLC would trigger a limitation.

How would an LLC/EIN/DBA insulate a person if you still have to give PP the legal name registered to the LLC? Even if I register Roger Hammersmith LLC and I am DBA Roger Hammersmith, wouldnt they still ask for his SSN? Plus if PP asks who the members of the LLC are can I legally say Roger Hammersmith even if he is not a member of the LLC? Seems like a longggggggggggg shot.

Anyone reading this that has already setup an LLC successfully (preferably with a business name rather then a DBA name) and got past PP without giving your SSN please PM me or reply to this thread. At this point I am desperate, was once a toprated/powerseller on eB making $80k I really want my business/life back. I have setup an LLC, cost a pretty penny and I really dont want to mess things up before I even get started. Thanks!
