SSN? Ebay Stealth - mc010 limited verify...
 

So this has never happened to me when i get some guy on ebay telling me all I want to do is verify some questions so what is your name and what is the last 4 digits of your ssn? I ask him why and he explains why and I said I have a friend who has sold for a long time on ebay and he has not provided his ssn and I do so no thank you. I hanged up. So I read a post here where it explains a little about ssn, but somebody help me because looks like im going to have to make up ssn numbers based on the info i have on file or somebody please guide me? this is for a stealth ebay account...

hmmm...not sure what the situation is here but ebay usually doesnt ask for your ssn. thats usually a paypal thing. And if they did they would ask for the whole thing.

If you do have a ssn DO NOT make up one that is way illegal and you wouldnt want someone doing that to you! If they ask for documents have those ready and get creative to get out of giving the ssn. Worst case doesnt work and you move on to another account

Hmmm, yeah. They, being ebay, asked for my ssn too when I called. However, I simply explained to them, that since all their information is from "public records" as they so eloquently put it to me, that my ssn is not public, but of rather private records. I said I could not give it out on the phone - as it is dangerous. So the man just said.. "i will put none of the above " then . I still passed :D ... it was stealth too.

yeah if it was multiple choice and they asked for you last 4 it is always none of the above if your using a stealth...good point turkey!!
