A few questions about eBay stealth.
 

Hi, before I start, I'd just like to make it clear that I have bought the eBay stealth guide, and I am not just fishing for info. I have emailed aspkin and he should make me a subscriber soon, I hope.

I have questions as the guide is written for americans and I live in France, so a few things differ...



At this moment in time, I would just like to open a personal stealth account, not a business account. I do not want to start an LLC yet, although I may wish to in the future.
I envy you americans, you have no idea how much of a PITA starting up a small business here in France, it involves enormous bureaucratic effort and ridiculous associated expense. I'm only 18 and still in full time education, the french are so damn unentrepreneurial, it's a real pain in the arse (I'm not french, just in case you couldn't tell , I just live here)

I do have access to a UK address, and the UK is a lot like the US in business terms, so maybe I will start one over there.


So I would like to know if it is possible to open a personal stealth account. Can I go and open another bank account in my name, get a new card, and use this for my new account?
My restricted account used a french bank account, if I open a bank account in the UK, can I use this?

Or is there no other way to do it without starting a business?



*When opening a US Paypal account under your company name, you do not need to provide your own name, with Paypal FR, you do.

Simply stated, from what I have read around, if you open a bank account in UK such as Barclay's, you can use the account for your stealth name - names do NOT have to match.

You don't need a LLC for that - you might need to have your IP be UK-based to be safer but other folx will chime in later for sure.

I think the book answers half of your questions :P

It turns out I had a knock off copy of eBay Stealth, called eBay Stealth Pro. I had gone through Trialpay, so a word of warning if you're thinking about obtaining it that way.

Luckily Aspkin PM'ed me and said he'd give me 50% off.


The real eBay stealth is definitely a lot more complete and you're right, it did answer most of my questions.

I just have one final one, though:

If I get a new debit card, with different numbers, but the billing address is still the same as the one on my suspended account, can I use it on my stealth account?
