Useful tool for checking inquiries in multiple accounts?

I will use Auctiva to create listings in multiple stealth accounts, but still would need to log on accounts quite often to answer inquiries. I use VPN service for IP solution but as much as possible i want to minimize the times of logging on the E bay accounts.

Is there a third party application that lets you check and give responses to your listing inquiries from buyers and not sharing your IP address with E bay. Would be particularly useful if you can use it on the multiple accounts so you don't have to log on and off different E bay accounts every often to check inquiries.

Is there such a thing?? Auctiva/Inkfrog doesn't include this feature, right?

If none, what's the productive solution others do regarding checking inquiries in multiple accounts? :pop2:

I always reply to item questions i get sent to my crackberry which can hold up to 12 email accounts~ Its a good method as long until it escalates to a dispute

Shane 02-23-2011 09:39 AM

You can reply to eBay messages throw your e-mails, If you're using gMail they're a few different ways to route all e-mails to one inbox, you've just got to make sure you reply to x message with x e-mail account.

And of-course, leave images in e-mails disabled.

I like the blackberry solution, but doesn't ebay have a way of knowing that the answers are all coming from the same phone or ip? Thanks

As i know it No, They cannot trace you unless you click a link or enable your images.

Maybe you can do a search on the forum about it :juggle:

Thanks for all the good suggestions. I will test them all.

But, most buyers seem to prefer you give responses not thru email,,
Is there an application where you can directly access your E bay questions and replying
there as if you actually sent the reply from E bay?

In my emails; It says:
http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/3484/ebaync.png

All I do is hit reply like I do a normal e-mail...

If you check the e-mail header; you'll notice:

eBay accepts that e-mail and either redirects it to the users email inbox, or their eBay message inbox... Not really sure, Although Its how I've always handled questions, and never had problems with it.

I use microsoft office outlook, which disables all pictures and external links by default. I setup each email account on my main user profile, I just create a new inbox for each user.

Saves time logging into each separate user account. I just create a new inbox for each stealth account.

I do the same as shane and dont hit the respond button, just reply like any email and goes directly to the users inbox.

Hope this helps :yar:

This does mot forward the senders email addy? Possible link....Mot by ip, but by email (from)

Heavy_T 04-07-2011 01:03 AM

When creating accounts in outlook, each one has its own separate username. so mailbox A will have one name and when u hit reply it automatically uses the mailbox name the email came in from.
i.e email to Mailbox A = automatically replies mailbox A username
email to Mailbox B = automatically replies mailbox B username

If you dont have outlook an alternative for firefox (doesnt work well in other browsers)
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...mail-notifier/
easy to setup :)

Yes they can track your IP from messages replied to using the email client on any mobile device.

The only way the can't is using gmail through the web interface and not the email client.

True but the email header will contain the IP address from which it was sent.

Sending all mail from one user profile will display the IP address from which it was sent regardless of individual inbox

baloch 03-21-2012 12:47 PM

I do not believe it matters what ip the email came from cause it get redirected through their system. Just do not click respond now in the email then you will be sent ebay to login and reply to the message.

It matters in as much that it will link accounts because the mail headers include your public IP address. The fact that it is routed through e/b mail is irrelevant as it still contains the original header.
