As part of eBay's security efforts, your account has been suspended pending additional account verification. To appeal this suspension, please go to: http://pages.ebay.com/help/account/s...-accounts.html
Unfortunately, during the suspension you won't be able to use eBay in any way, including using existing accounts or registering new accounts. Any remaining listing fees are due right away and will be charged to the billing method you selected.
We understand this may be an inconvenience for you. However, keeping the marketplace safe is our top priority.
Sincerely,
eBay Trust & Safety team

They took down all my listings, even the ones that were already completed. Only say I owe 8 dollars. And my account is blocked from buying and selling.
So it's a stealth, however, I passed the initial questions that got my limit raised to 100 items or 5k. I have sold a couple of laptop batteries, that were used and listed as used. I got this message last night right after listing an iphone 3g 8gb, listed as used and had a real picture of it. I'm guessing that is what triggered it, but I know when I call they are going to want pic id, and I have no idea how to do that. Is anyone here that creative and if so, can someone PM me please? |
| mississippighost | 02-21-2011 11:26 AM | ok, so they want copy of id, utility bills and pp transaction history...i understand the first 2, but why pp transaction history? i am currently doing 2 accounts on one paypal account, isnt this going to send that account down too? |
They are all linked so yes, the account is in a light "jeopardy". Your other eb ay account is still live? |
| mississippighost | 02-21-2011 12:27 PM | yes, but not linked inside ebay. i didn't link the paypal to the accounts, just on the one that got taken down, the payments go to different paypal email...other account is live and so is paypal.....the one that got taken down has a 5k limit and the other live one is a 12k limit. all positive and no other issues.... |
The other pa yp al is same info? If not, you may be ok - give the info required. If it is, then the situation looks dodgy |
| mississippighost | 02-21-2011 12:44 PM | no, it's under a different name...i don't know what to do, leave it alone? i'm scared that account will be taken down too and the eb ay account and the pay pal that is still live is in the same name, info and all.... |
Oh different name - lot of payments to it? For what reason - i mean, services, gifts, etc?
Yes that account is on rocky waters but wait for other folx to chime in before setting a course of action. |
| mississippighost | 02-21-2011 12:50 PM | nah, just ebay payments....and not a horrible amount, the other account is pretty new too |
| smithgroup | 02-21-2011 07:44 PM | So, you just listed a few laptop batteries and an iPhone? After what, like 4 items they suspended you? |
| mississippighost | 02-21-2011 09:16 PM | yes, that's it....listed 4 laptop batteries to be exact, sold 3 at dirt cheap prices, but didn't care, they were used....then when i listed the iphone....that was it....and it wasn't even a 4, it was a 3g 8gb |

| smithgroup | 02-22-2011 01:54 AM | Look around the forums. There are people that will "work on" your ID problem.
Also... How old is the account?
Also... How did you get your selling limit lifted on an account that has such little selling history? |

Also... How did you get your selling limit lifted on an account that has such little selling history? | account is a couple of weeks old, got the limits removed because when you click on lift limits, it verifies you by name and address if it's a legit one, that is associated with your name, and then asks you questions like how old is so and so and where did you live and what color was this car and all that stuff, answer them right and you get lifted to 100 items or 5k... have another account that did the same, if you fail, it says call ebay to lift limits |
| smithgroup | 02-22-2011 01:14 PM | Really? I never tried to lift the limit because I figured you had to call eBay and wait for an hour to talk to someone to still get rejected. I didn't know you could give it a shot in the browser.
It has to be legit info or just is there a none of the above option? |
| mississippighost | 02-22-2011 02:07 PM | it has to be legit, or this name has to be associated with your address at some point in time to be able to do it....i guess they run a check in public records or something...i have one that is completely stealth and it couldn't verify the any of the info and only gave me the option to call | | All times are GMT -5.
