Default best printer

What would be the best printer to get for printing shipping labels for my packages?

Any suggestions are appreciated

Edit+++ pre paid shipping labels i would assume, from usps

well if you use paypal to print any printer really...i would go with the cheapest one on ink

my advice would be to get a commercial grade printer the cheap ones at wally world always always break. cheap = junk

weight thing buy some cheap digi scales...15-20 bucks at our beloved e b ay for decent ones i guess

Is that the one that prints small shipping labels? Not the 4x6 ones right?

The 450 turbo is what I use and the Dymo 4XL prints the 4/6 labels but never used that one.

I might go with what you're using and it appears to be a lot cheaper than the XL one. Thanks for the help.

You will probably find most, including myself...recommend and use the Zebra LP2844 thermal label printer.

Yes, it prints on 4" x 6" labels.

I use it for USPS PayPal shipping and FedEx ShipRush.

Yeah it costs about 5 times more and doesn't look too hot, the dymo 450 turbo prints up to 71 labels per minute, costs about $80 and it turns me on, that's what counts.

I just bought a zebra LP2844, and it is amazing. Very easy to set-up (if you need instructions, let me know) and no more ink. Man, what was I thinking before constantly buying ink, looking for a scissors, cutting, taping the damn postage labels... I think I'm in heaven.

I 100% agree!

The Zebra LP2844 is almost Genius and Bulletproof. These will go almost forever without a single issue.

And since they almost last forever, I would not worry about getting a used one. Lots of Great Deals for used ones.

I bought mine for $10. (from Craigslist) without a power supply, then just used a laptop power supply with almost the same ratings to power it.

The only thing I don't like about Dymo is they don't have a battery powered one yet, it would fit perfect in my laptop backpack.

How do these printers integrate with ebay shipping? I like that little icon that shows what has shipped or not. Also like to just click the link that shows "payed and needs shipped" How does all that work with the printers? I have to weigh each item before I even package it since I try to get the absolute cheapest rate there is for it. also you guys that use the paypal multi-shipping thing, does it print 1st class international yet? the ebay shipping does and that is a life saver for me.
