Now eBay asks for manufacture invoice or receipt
I've sold hundreds of Ralph Lauren shirts in the past 10 months and both my eBay and Paypal account are fine. I got my Powerseller status in Dec 2010.
In January I listed and sold 4 Louis Vuitton wallets then my eBay account was suspended pending providing my driver's license, bank statement and manufacture invoice or receipt. I sent an invoice coz my supplier could not be able to give me one. Here is what eBay responds: "We appreciate your efforts to provide all the documentation we
previously requested to verify your account. Unfortunately, the invoice
you provided for the Polo items and the Louis Vuitton bags do not appear
to be from an authorized reseller and therefore we cannot verify that
the items being sold on your account are genuine. When working with
suppliers it is important to make sure you?re dealing with a reliable
company. As a seller, you?re ultimately responsible for the legality of
any item you offer for sale on eBay.
Until we are able to verify that your supplier is an authorized
distributor for the items you sell we will be unable to remove selling
restriction from your account. If you would like to continue your eBay
business, you can provide documents showing your supplier is an
authorized distributor or you can provide documents showing you have a
different supplier that is authorized. If you would like to provide
additional documents, unfortunately we can only accept them by fax due
to security risks of email attachments and physical mail."
Apparently I can not give the document showing my supplier is an authorized one. What should I do if I want to continue my eBay business? Can I just tell eBay I'll stop selling brand items but only sell my own pre-owned non-brand stuff?
Any suggestion or feedback would be highly appreciated! P.S. My feedback is 100% with DSR 4.9
