old bank accounts

Hello all, i have a question and i am just thinking ahead of time, i am sure some of you more seasoned people can give insight on this.

We all know that you need 1 bank account to every pp/ebay account. Say you have a bank account that is linked to a stealth account and that account gets perma banned.

What do you do with that bank account? You can't link it with another stealth account i would not assume?

Do you just withdraw the money and cancel the account?

How does this affect your standing with the bank?

Thanks in advance for input

I usually just get rid of the account in person, they try their best to keep you, but if its no longer needed do what you have to do. It didn't change anything when I closed a few accounts, but we'll see what others have to say about this.

As long as I've been here I'm just now starting stealth, so for older accounts, I'll keep some open, even if they are banned, because you can still use them to withdraw money from sites like Amazon, i'm not sure about ebay, so I can't give my input on that, but I know banned banks work on banned Amazon accounts when It comes to withdrawing money.

if the ebay gets banned but the pp is left standing, then keep the pp. as the pp can be used for outside ebay business, and comes in useful, if you had to send some emergency money as a one-off from a another paypal that was feeling heat.

If the pp is banned, keep bank until the 180 days is over if you have to withdraw. I personally dont see the need to cancel a bank account, unless this happens to you alot, an extra bank out there is no biggie. Occasionally you can find a way of getting a new bank account number, and re-use if for pp, ie in the case of suspected ID fraud or just requesting it, if you are friendly with bank...

yes constantly closing an opening bank accounts affects your credit rating, so be reasonable about how much you do it.

That is really a shame, closing a bank account affects your credit score? Come on now, that really is BS, the way things operate. If it's not one thing, it's another....... *sigh*

no I didnt mean it like that exactly, I dont think closing a bank affects your credit score, opening them can though. However Ive heard closing unused credit cards or reducing your overdraft limit can reduce your total credit available....
