Warning about greendot cards

Greendot cards officially sucks balls! What happen is i was paid last night with 3 money reload packs well i loaded them as i usely do and i was paid earily that day by a money pack as well so the money loaded just fine till today i went to use it and it was declined! So i called them and was on hold 8mins then a overseas rep takes my call and ask what the problem is and i tell him so he checks it and comes back and said there so called risk dept put a block on my account cause i loaded 4 money packs in one weeks time and apparently this is against there rules. Its one of them rules that they dont tell u about untill its to late so anyway they said that they will unblock my card and on the 25th they will cancle my card out and i couldnt use them after that. So if any u guys use money packs to load your cards make sure u dont do more then 3 in on weeks time or they might cancle u out. I have used them many years and never no problems till now.

I load my moneypak cards on Walmarts Achieve Cards, I've done it plenty of times weekly without any problems.

hmm the bstrds probly used it as a excuse. cause thats what the guy told me. i was loading about 1000 to 2000 a month on it though. i think they assumed i was getting paid through money packs and they didnt like it now and thats what the real problem was.

I found another card thats not greendot issued that has the abilty to load by money packs i will just use them

Yeah, I'm not loading that much onto 1 card lol, its best to diversify. The strange part is I always get new cards in the mail that is sometimes mentioned on this forum that i never applied for, and it works with MoneyPak lol, which is a good thing, but still odd.

I could see how 1-2k a month in moneypaks could look suspicious, ecpesially if they were all in similar increments, they probably thought you were selling drugs or something lol.

Since we're talking about GreenDot, can someone please tell me why Walgreens makes customers wait 30min to load money onto cards/pp accounts, and CVS allows you to upload your funds immediately? Does any other place make you wait 30 min similar to Walgreens? If anyone knows please let me know, so I can avoid them altogether.

7-11 has it all, greendot, vanilla visa, virgin mobile, pizza, slurpees, I don't know about the 30 min. though as long as you take the long way home you should be good.

^^^ They don't all have that variety of cards but they all
have old sandwiches that will clean out your system Pronto!
