| | | cortex | 03-18-2011 07:42 PM | Question about paypal & bank accounts just a quick question guys...particularly to Imakemoney, are ALL your stealth accounts verified with a bank account? or some are and some aren't? |
| Imakemoney | 03-18-2011 08:07 PM | Hi cortex.
all my stealth paypal accounts are verified with bank accounts yes. Some with savings accounts and some with current accounts. |
| imprezawrx | 03-21-2011 04:33 AM | ye same here. all bank verified with current or savers. although i do have a few stealths ageing without being verified |
| Imakemoney | 03-21-2011 11:49 AM | to the above, be careful when ageing accounts.
Try to keep them active a bit or the bots will be out to get you. |
| cortex | 03-21-2011 03:43 PM | Thank guys - im having trouble getting current accounts right now so wondered if there were any alternatives?
I have the STB but they only let us have 1
Feel free to PM me if need be |
| imprezawrx | 03-22-2011 05:48 AM | ye i go onto these ageing accounts a few times a week. just browse on them for 10 minutes or so
cortex have you tried nat west current acccounts? if you get one of these you can also get there first reserve savings accs that also work with paypal. have 2 of these myself |
| cortex | 03-22-2011 11:34 AM | I do have a natwest current account [banned from paypal] so i guess i could go into branch and request the savers.
Which savings account do you reccomend I ask for? how many can we get - is it liek lloyds savers where once you have online banking, you can open up to 11 savers at a time?
[Lloyds savers didnt work for me by the way] |
| imprezawrx | 03-25-2011 03:29 AM | don't know how many savers from natwest you can have but i've opened 2 for me online very easily cos i already have 2 currents with them. done the same with 3 of my m8s. i'l try for a few more when needed tho |
i have 2 natwest savings accounts which have been used to verify paypal, one has been done and the other i am waiting for verification code. If you have online banking with natest it is really easy toopen up as many online savers as you need (within reason i suppose). I have another 2 i have opened but not used yet, so all is looking good with those, about to open my 3rd stealth account so keeping fingers crossed, natwest savings and entropay have both worked well together so far, even with the name difference which natwest do not seem to share with ppal |
| cortex | 03-31-2011 05:34 AM | Thanks guys!! |
| Alps_a somewhatlegend | 03-31-2011 07:25 PM | 2 of my natwest e-savers have come back rejected after a few weeks. Not a big problem, just a bit crap - I have replacements I can use so its all good in the hood.
For what peeps say, I thought natwest e-savers are supposed to be ok.
Do you leave the name of the account standard or change it? I changed the name to the initial and surname of my pp accounts - when I say 'change the name', I mean you can 'label' the account names to help you recognise what you are saving for etc.
So instead of labeling for example 'holiday money' or something like that, I use 'Smith M'
Do you think that could be why or maybe I got unlucky. I have 4 e-savers on my account.
Thanks |
| Imakemoney | 04-01-2011 08:35 AM | ohhh nooo they stopped working? :(
Mines still not got knocked back yet how many weeks did it happen after? |
| Alps_a somewhatlegend | 04-01-2011 09:03 AM | 1 was after 3 weeks and another was 1.5 weeks. I still have 2 left.
Dont panic yet. Maybe its just my bad luck or that I opened them too fast.
Anyway, there is an easy way round it so if it does happen, its not much of a problem until some wiseguy changes the system. |
| Imakemoney | 04-01-2011 09:07 AM | whats the easy way round it?
were they not first reserve accounts?
whats the difference between first reserve and e-saver accounts with natwest? |
| Alps_a somewhatlegend | 04-01-2011 09:22 AM | My first reserve is ok for now. I dont know the difference between them except I got a cahcard with the 1st reserve
The ones that got recalled were e-savers. |

| williamshen2004 | 04-08-2011 06:59 AM | , I got a natwest current and banned by palpay...
Co. I wish I could open an first reserve saving acc and create a sealth eb pp acc. Thank you.. |
| Alps_a somewhatlegend | 04-08-2011 08:07 AM | ^ Hi.
Natwest currents should not get banned.
If you mean you that you have a new natwest current that you would like to use with a new s t e alth then there are many threads explaining what you need to do. |
i'm going to natwest tommorow to open an account do i ask them for a current account that takes direct debits or the 1st reserve account? |
| Imakemoney | 04-08-2011 11:50 AM | Hi lucy.
I have both natwest current and first reserve accounts.
So far both are good with paypal. |
| oompaloompa | 04-08-2011 02:38 PM | rejected by paypal? why would opening it with ID cause paypal to reject or accept a savings account? |
| Alps_a somewhatlegend | 04-08-2011 02:38 PM | ^ this is what I was wondering a I still dont get it |
| oompaloompa | 04-08-2011 03:08 PM | lloyds is known to reject non-matching names on the mandate |

| All my names were all fine, still got rejected on all e-savings, savings etc with Lloyds TSB. These were all before I was suspended, so the accounts were going to be used with genuine PayPal accounts. So all info was correct and real. |
| Imakemoney | 04-08-2011 03:57 PM | Odd one this is.
I find to stay away from Lloyds....their not good when it comes to paypal.
Despite what people say very few savings/e-savers actually work they get rejected after a month or so....but what they do is jump on here soon as they withdraw money declaring their safe to use with stealth paypal when its not neccessarily the case.
Lesson here....avoid Lloyds....the futures Natwest and Cooperative :amen: |
| ShadyOne | 04-08-2011 04:11 PM | Thank you ;)
Glad I chose NatWest after getting rejected by Lloyds..pretty lucky
Has anyone had any success with any other internet/esavings/saving accounts? |
| Imakemoney | 04-09-2011 10:53 AM | However I can confirm that first reserve accounts with Natwest are currently working you can simply apply for one online. |
| Alps_a somewhatlegend | 04-10-2011 01:39 AM | ^ thanks for the first reserve tip - mines been working fine too.
I actually first read you post to read 'I dont want to talk to Alps' - I though oh no - I must have written a moody post - then I couldn't log in and though I got kicked outta here! Then I realised 'someone' changed my username and now everyone is gonna think I am some kinda 'super dude' when its only me! - heellllppp - I love the new name really and its my own fault for givin' it large!
I only have knowledge of savings/e-savings because I did not listen to people when they said e-savers dont really work and I found out the hard way!
I didn't ruin any eb/pp accounts just wasted a little of my time - saying that, the e-savers have helped me setup my pp accounts and get the selling limits lifted/account verified - I feel they are only useful if you are desperately in need of a bank account.
Oh... you dont need to be that nice to little old me!... I am sorta mellow most of the time - I have written some 'moody' posts here and there and feel shamed when I read them back - so I try to hold that sorta thing down - soz if anyone read them |
| bigboykelly | 04-10-2011 08:51 PM | Hi guys, I need to open a few more accounts also so I am guessing the first reserve accounts are the way to go, I recall a member telling me it was easy to open a few key accounts with RBS and considering Natwest and RBS are like sister branches I would think both would be good to use with paypal? | | All times are GMT -5.
