Default Looking for a Cheap Digital camera - good quality

I am looking for a 2nd camera . Something under $100 , recently bought a fuji at Costco for $78 but it really does not do the items i picture justice, the colors are horrible. It is grainy and ick !. A couple of years ago i bought a Kodak from walmart for $100, but it was dropped and I misplaced it . I would not mind finding something similar it was really good on colors , it was one of the easy share and around 5 or 7 mp , but it was awesome ! Anyone know of something under $100 that would work ? I am picturing clothing. Thanks for any thoughts or ideas or maybe if you know what kodak i am reffering to?

In the time it took to post any thoughts, you could have used the SEARCH feature here and found these threads....that be my thoughts

If there is no much forthcoming here (but others might answer), google to try reviews from the various computer magazines which review such items.

I use a canon something or other. (Not at home so cant tell you the model) eace;

GreenBean you are right .. research is key !!! research research research.... Exept i have spent hours on Amazon looking for the kodak i was referring to and they all look the same ( it may be my aging eyes ..) or something but they all look the same. I did the trial and error thing as mentioned above and bought a fuji from costco that turned out to be total junk . I will keep trying . I also tried out a casio from costco and it was junk too.. I will keep reading reviews .. Just looking for some help here.
