Disputing a Gift

Hey I was wondering if anyone tried to dispute a gift for un-authorized account access. Because I gifted someone money for a domain and never got my end of the deal (my dumba__ didn't know he was a known scammer).

So I opened up a PP dispute, how do cases like this usually work out?
Anyone been in a similiar situation?

Though I have never disputed a gift, I know of a few people who have - sadly I am still waiting to hear how it worked out for them =(

T'other round. He in fact won but with consequences, most unpleasant. :tears:

Next time make sure you go 'buyer beware' & research a deal. :spy:

Also never ever pay from your paypal balance ;)

Yep, this is smart. I totally fell into this guys con; he even asked me "is the money on your balance" Damn, I feel dumb.

Further Advice: "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

Wow he even asked is the money on your balance...

Interesting. You will not be the 1st to be caught.

You say you already put the claim in? Pity. Always run this stuff by the forum 1st. There's special things that can be said ;)

Heh, now I'm curious as to what those special things are.

Yeah I called them and told them I did a complete system reformat.
And I changed my PP password. On the grounds that I had a "trojan"
Saying that the person got Unauthorized Access to my account.
Cause I don't think there is many other ways to dispute a gift.
