How Long Is "Indefinitely Restricted"
 

Hello Everyone,

I am working hard studying the guide and hope to start listing soon.

I was "indefinitely restricted" from selling on e bay due to poor seller performance from 10 customers .. delayed shipping and e-mails during a family crises.

I have tried to look everywhere for an answer.

My appeal was denied.

Has anyone who was "indefinitely restricted" ever get reinstated?

Is there still hope for my account of 10 years to be reinstated?

I hope someone can answer this.

This is ebay speak for ''your account is toast but we want to tease you and let think you might have hope but because we are all omnipotent we might never restore the account. And we dont give a toss that the account was 10 years old. You fell foul of us so you are out''


In their eyes 10 customers is 10 too many to make your account bad. TBF, they would not care about a family crisis. Been there, done that, have the T-shirt as have many many users here.

There may be a remote chance if you could get in touch with buyers to get feedback revised to make you look sweet again. Out of the many indefinite suspension notices I've seen, certainly no more than 3 were restored. In fact, one got canned again for some rubbish reason.
Across the forum at the moment, this is the latest suspension that lasts. Choices are more to come to terms with this and re-start your selling.
Whatever way, you need to ensure next round, business is dealt with first especially if it is ebay.

Im not a professional ebayer but im assuming it means forever I actually just received that message before joining this forum they refuse to help me in any way I keep asking them for info on how to restore my account but they have not responded and when I call they say they cant help me soooo instead of doing the ebay shuffle im just going to stealth from now on.

Don't lose hope on this one - from my experience, I was indefinitely suspended for recent negatives in November of last year. I spoke to a LIVE CHAT agent who told me that I would be reinstated in 30 days. You need to clear this with a Live chat agent and see what possibilities are. All the best.

I was indefinitely suspended and called up ebay the other day and got my powerselling account reinstated. The same thing happened to me due to poor service during a crisis as well. I explained myself and they are reinstating my account today or tomorrow.

Come back once your account is actually reinstated...Not just when a rep tells you so
