Another Question about IP
 

Hi guys, I know it is annoying to get repeat questions.. I have searched the site for last 2 hrs and didn't quite get the answer to this one. so here goes.

If I dedicate a laptop to stealth accounts and use a 3G adapter and do a pre-paid monthly data plan that is Dynamic then would I still need to change the IP every time I switch users? Or just reboot the laptop before switching users. There will be no router since ill be using plug in service like cricket, however not offered in my area.

Also any suggestions on which pre-paid data carrier?

Im sorry for all the questions. I want to know everything before I start so I dont screw it up right away.:eek:

its 1 ip to 1 ebay account. If u use 1 ip to all your ebay accounts they will be linked! even if u use multi users.

if u only have 1 ebay id then u can keep the clean ip use it till u get banned then u will need a new ip.

Yea, the info in the stealth book is extremely helpful. Rebooting your laptop is the main thing you will have to do between logging into eB accounts. The main purpose of this is so that your laptop/modem will grab a new IP address. It is vital to not reuse any IP addresses between eB accounts.

My suggestion... Set your IE or Firefox homepage to ipburger.com. Then keep a running log of all IP addresses for each eB account. You want to check your IP address with ipburger each time you attempt to change it because I've had my modem grab the same or a previous IP address which could have gotten me linked. However, usually I get a new IP each reboot.
