paypal and bank card numbers
 

hello everyone, im totally new to this and am in need of much guidance. But would it be possible once a bank account is linked to a suspended account, to simply re-order a new card and set up different paypal account and new personal details on paypal. Because it seems the card number is the only number paypal appears to use for verification not a sort code or account number at all.
I imagine im wide of the mark and this information is available instantly on release of the card number anyway but like i said im clueless.

I've never done this, so I'll wait, and see what someone else has to say about this, but If I were you I wouldn't do this, just to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the reply the obvious advantages would be on suspension a simple reordering of a card. would mean a fresh paypal would become accessible and having more than one card for the bank account would also allow the use of more than one paypal per bank account i hope.

just wanted do ask.. do you know about the AVS for the cc card?


Like the zip code and house number?, Those numbers have to be the same. but the rest of the address can be altered.

example.....

henry doe
2002 blue avenue
zip 10012

can be changed to

henry doe
2002 brown avenue
zip 10012

I'm not too sure because I only use Virtual Cards but you might even be able to go futher with the avs altering numbers as long as the number are in the address

If your bank info has been used B4, you can use a different account number with the same bank. That may be troublesome done the road in case it links you to an old account.

Any and all bank accounts need to be in your real name. paypal/ebay can be in another name although the names should match.

Wait - so the only bank info you provided to pa yp al was the bank card? No account number specifically?

In that case - yes new card = fresh.

@Imback2010 - this does not appear to be a cc so AVS does not apply.
