Strange PP experience
 

I transferred money from one stealth acc to another and then to my real and out to my bank. (I know, I know, stupid but I've done if before and still get away with it :cool:) PP limited both stealth accounts and put transactions on hold. I answered the disputes that PP had opened and said that the transactions were indeed initiated by account owner and OK but after some days they decided to reverse the transactions anyway(?). So, now one acc has a negative balance, one has a (quite large) positive balance, although the account is limited, and my real PP is still OK(and funds received at bank). Perhaps I will be able to withdraw the money once again after 180 days? :heh:

I would not put "stupid" in a post title - that's a somewhat no-no thing to do ha.

How does one acc have a negative balance? You withdrew the amount transferred?

So you are going for a double dip ha...all the best. Not much I can say - if the funds stay then you should be able to get in 180 days.

Pa yp al is not so stu pid though - if your accounts are linked, quite possible they will auto-rectify so be ready...

Well, I dunno, we'll see what happens. I just don't understand how PP can decided to reverse the transfer after me(the account owner) saiying that the transfer was ok in the first place.

PP: "We've noticed a strange transfer from your account, is it really you who made this transfer"?
ME: "Yes, I made the transfer, it's ok"
PP: "Well, we're going to reverse it any way"

This has happened before - pa yp al is notorious for instigating reversals claiming owner did it when the person is in fact the owner - really annoying on their part.

I do hope you can do a double dip though =)

Ok, thanks. That's why I said "stupid", because I think they are acting stupid.

Well, we'll see in October if I can wd again..

Update: Just the other day I got an email from PP that the funds are available for withdrawal...
