Faxing PayPal Documents - £1900 Limit
 

I am quickly approaching the £1900 receiving limit and to lift this limit PP give me the option to:

1. "Confirm your personal information

then it takes me to:

2. "Confirm user identity" (Where you can see and modify everything, including DOB, address, but NOT name.

3. "Review your information" (Where it says to check your personal information, any inaccuracies may require faxing of additional documents"

I held back from pressing the submit button, but I think PP are now doing the £1900 receiving limit removal if you get past this final step.

They are cross-referencing the:

Full Name with DOB with Address on electronic electoral registers.

Has anyone passed this new rule or does it just require more work :pop2::pop2::pop2:

Be creative.

paypal has changed their system recently and phone verification no longer applies; they're now asking you to submit id and proof of address

OP.... I have heard and experienced these things myself recently.

From what I know, this is happening to all in UK.

No one has reported back recently of having got sorted without the doc sending.

I have a few 'experiments' to do with my 'human subjects' and some bottles of DNA juice from alien species.

Reality check - I will be doing 5 tests which do not involve sending docs... hopefully one should come back working... dont hold your breath on this as it is a very very beta test, but you never know.

Alps_a somewhatlegend there is a possible way to get the £1900 limit lifted without docs, i'm just in the process of going 'super stealth' and will let you know if it works - fingers and legs crossed:amen:

Lucy, any luck with the Super Stealth method? I had a look into the Super Stealth, and I think I know what you mean, but on the method I was looking at it would require up an front payment for the info needed, and even then PP may want docs still...

Anyone had success with the "creative" work recently...???

Can one not wait out the 90 day period and have the limit lifted that way ?

Hi have had the run around by pp for the last month with the fax docs rubbish, so far it has gone like this:-
1st needed to verify my account so I sent a copy of driving licence & utility bill, heard nothing other than a email to say they have received them
2nd bank account refused and they asked that i send a bank statement and driving licence did this and have not heard anything other than a email to say they have received them
3rd finally got a response.... please verify by sending......you guessed it a copy of driving licence & utility bill, sent them it heard nothing other than a email to say they have received them.
4th decided to email pp direct as it has been 3 weeks since i faxed the docs and i have heard nothing, they say i should get a response within 24hrs 5 days later and have heard nothing.
in all i have sent the docs 3 times to 2 different departments and have not heard a thing. They are a complete shower of sh**e, I think the next step is too ring them and see what they say as plainly faxing them docs is useless and they just take the piss and never reply….:suspicious:

Will do, it just seems to be dragging on and on, could be the bank holiday but the just dont seem to be replying to the docs i have faxed. bit of a pain in the ass really:rant:

I'm totally paranoid where they are concerned and I would be really wound up. Hope it all works out as you want it to. ,:pry:

why not just upload the documents on their system? you usually get a response within 24 hours

@Littlemorestealth, it is the other way around, PayPal check the information your provide against the electoral roll and if you are not found, they request documents.

And setting stealth up with information the same as someone elses ID is NOT something I would reccomend at all. I never involve others in my stealth activities.

Because when you purchase the guide from the forum you have the symbol appearing just underneath your 'thanks' which a minute ago you didnt have.

I've got this now, got a £100 left of my receiving limit.

What is weird that, with this account (in a variation of my name and a typo ;) dob error), ebay haven't applied draconian limits to my account and Paypal haven't held the money for 21 days like they normally do because I sell in a "high risk" category.

Tempted to make up the documents with the dob corrected but surely Paypal can verify the information you give them? A bookmaker can confirm your idendity with your long passport number so surely Paypal would know that isn't correct too if i start changing things?

I thought it was ok to hide the id number?
