I would say no to be honest.

Find something lower risk if you are not going to be making profit. Feedback is feedback. Selling lower risk items will help.

If you are going to sell them, use generic images and text.

I was thinking about doing the same thing only I would be drop shipping them. Is drop shipping from a new account a bad idea?

^^Yes, you must be crazy, nah it depends...

:D

You need to have a good dropshipper first and you really need to say where the item is coming from and how long it could take if you do it.

You do not want any low DSR's, disputes or negative feedback on a new accounts.

I assumed he meant generic screen protectors. The kind that cost $0.25 from china.

What screen protectors require drop-shipping?

@topadog, just be sure to carefully word your auctions - iphone 4 in the title wouldl likely flag it. Generic might not.

didnt think of it like that. i know they dont like keyword stuffing, but how are you supposed to sell screen protectors if you cant say what phone they are for? im asking because i have some iphone stuff which i have started to list.

I thought about this more. TMC is correct. Can sell a generic product and describe the phone it works with. Don't do things like say "not for iphone 3", or "just like brand x".

An analogy would be if i was selling car parts. I can sell a door handle for honda civic and put "honda civic" in the title even if the part is not made by honda.

"Compatible with", "For the", "Works with" etc etc < Usually the global standards.

They are used as a 'reference' to a product.

You can not 'associate' yourself with the product or company.

Still, this is ebay!

what would you write then?

screen protector for...

I dont think it should be a problem as apple doesnt make any screen protectors so you are not selling counterfiet items.

^^^ If you must sell them then risk it, on your head be it, people get away with it everyday. Some get suspended for it everyday as well.

You said in the OP that you are planning on selling "3-4" of these iPhone screen protectors. I would say why risk it, sell something else.

Their are enough tips for selling them on this forum somewhere and on the internet as well.
