Vanilla Gift Card
 

Heads up, I searched on the forum and people where saying that this card works for paypal and it did not work for me. I bought 4 cards ad none of them worked.

This is the message i got from paypal:

Your credit or debit card has not been added since your card issuer does not allow checking the card's billing address. Please enter a different card number. If you have further questions, please contact the business that issued your card.

u do know u have to reg the zip code to the card before useing it with paypal. I use them all the time never had any issues

To use them on paypal u have to register the zip code that u used on paypal into the giftcard or it will say this every time.

I inserted the same zip code thats on my paypal 12345 the moon.

I wasn't trying to use it with ebay, i know that they don't work with ebay but other members on other threads say it worked with paypal.

Bearing in mind that thread I added, was the card any of those or another one?

oops, pressed send too soon. Is the card a Vanilla Visa or Vanilla Mastercard? Could that contribute to any problem?

its a visa. i bought a vcc but it didn't work with what i was trying to do. it has to be an American card provider that passes the avs check.

Has anyone used western union gift cards?

As werid as it may sound i seen many cases where once u failed adding a giftcard to Pp it will reject it everytime but if u take that giftcard and reg it to a new Pp with new zip it will work the first time. I would try that if i was you to rule it out before giveing up on them vanillas.

goto vanila visa card website and Register it with the same postal code as you have on your Paypal, i use it like that

I did that and it didn't work, i also called them to see if maybe they could add the complete address onto the card but they didn't answer, guess they are on vacation this weekend or something because i called 6 times different time every time.

The circle k nearby sells 2 different gift cards: futura mastercard and all access giftcard, so i am just gonna try on of those.

What ever giftcard u get make sure that u register it first to rule out any problems.

I havent had a problem with any giftcard on Pp and i use many types Vanilla visa and mastercard, giftcardmall, gift2go, american expresss, mygiftcard they all worked fine no problems.

Last 2 Vanilla's I bought did not work and I got the same message, just buy a VCC from one of the sellers like DoughBoy, LakeMan, 123 etc..

I had 3 vanilla visa get declined today im not quite sure what triggers it. But all 3 times when it was declined i opened a new vanalla card and added it with no problems then i made another paypal and use the same card that got declined and it worked like a charm. I had to edit the zip to refelect the new paypals zip so if u guys have problems with a card not working then use it on a new paypal and it will work from there.
