Difficulty with bank for selling
 

Well Ive set up a new stealth account to sell Trainers with the account is 2 months old and have feedback on it from selling low value items.

Now when I try to sell some Nike trainers I'm getting this messge:

Obv on my paypal account I have spoof details & a Vcc ok my limits are £1900 but I have a number of these accounts.

I cannot add back details as I have them on safe pp accounts to withdraw my money too.

Any sugestions ??

well you wont be able to sell Vero items. You MUST add a bank account to sell VERO items. You can add a new bank account unto your stealth account using the correct sort code and account number. Names do not have to match.

With 17 stealth accounts this will be a little difficult dont you think :P

How many PP accounts do you have? How many have banks attached at the moment?

20 pp acc's 5 with added banks acc's which are savings accounts & 3 with current accounts the 5 which are saving accounts are linked to eb ay accounts & the 3 others are pp acc's on there own to withdraw money to. The other 12 have no bank account added but i need to add one on each for vero items

^^^ You would still have to have a PP account attached to the eb ay account though to sell, lets say you had a PP account attached with no bank then yeah.

So are you saying in this scenario you could add a bank account to eb ay to allow to list VERO? The same bank account already added to a different PP account.

I got the solution now I think, here goes:

I'm with Lloyds TBS & have online banking, on my online banking I can create savings accounts with a sort code & account number I can add these accounts to my pp& they send the 2 codes that 'verify' the pp account with a bank card but when pp try to take £1 from the account either the bank wont let them take it or they know its not a 'current accout' so they disable the bank account but the pp account remains verifyed as having a bank acc.

Ive hit my limit with the bank on how many of these savings accounts I can set up so all I have to do is go into the bank & have them all closed down which will allow me to go home & set some more up for the other accounts.

^^^ This DOES work.

You could also set some accounts up at another bank, it is easy and allowed. You can have as many banks as you want, within reason obviously.

I am at 3 banks at the minute. Will be more in the future. Just won't abuse things. I am LLoyds, NatWest and just recently RBS.

When you set up a Natwest or RBS current account & take online banking can you create savings accounts online & also can you withdraw money to them ?

Imposter: with the lloyds savers - you cannot withdraw to them .. so what are you going to do with the money that accumulates in these paypal accounts?

At NatWest you can, though I had to go into branch to confirm it, easy enough.
RBS I have not tried yet. NatWest is the best savings account I have come across yet, I was able to withdraw to it for a while.

As cortex mentioned above, basically savings accounts are not that good for PP. In fact they are sh*t. :lol:

Why do you prefer savings, do you hate the time and effort in setting up current accounts?

to answer both questions in 1 I have 17 eb ay / pp accounts so I cant have a current account on every one as I would not be able to set up that many accounts. What I do is have 3 other pp accounts with current accounts that I dont use for ebay just to withdraw money.

I send the money from my 17 eb ay / pp accounts to withdraw.

Just open more accounts, halifax for instance, you can have 5 current accounts and at the moment i have 3 web savers which also work with debit card, plus use all other banks to open current accounts

Sending the money to 3 'central' PP accounts can only go wrong, eventually. It is an option that should only be used a few times.

You can open more current accounts for now.

IMPOSTER: 2 Quick questions

(1) How long have you been using this method for / Have you actually used this method yet???

(2) How are your transferring the money over? - Invoices?

Ive been using this method for 4 months now & yes I send invoices to myself for the hire of gaming servers ;)

Yes I have to pay pp fees on that cost but as I drop shop & order the stock from the pp account the buyer pays me into i'm only taking my profits for the months on each account which is usually about £80 - £100 per account

Whats the most you've transferred in a single invoice?

Because you have so many PP accounts its good - you are spreading the risk.
But say you had only 5 paypals then sending an invoice to that account every month would probably raise red flags. So I'm wondering if you have send multiple invoices to the same pp account?

question...with paypal accounts that have NO bank attached...how are you getting your money out of them?
