Someone can confirm this has been done recently? Good info if true.

oompaloompa 05-05-2011 08:39 AM

I wonder what javalin was suspended for. Perm suspensions mean exactly that...maybe it was just a 30 day thing or a non-payment issue, I would like a clearer explanation too! Only account I ever got back was one locked for non-suspension reasons, eg. possible hack. I would like to see where in their book it says this..I am smelling BS until I hear more.....

thread is about both now. Amended the title because there's some ebay info that needs discussing :spy:

It was a couple buyer seller/accounts.

If you don't believe what I be saying to be true,
then don't believe it.

Just don't call me a liar,
and that I am spouting BS,
because you do not know the facts and what is the truth.

I did not believe it in the first place,
but I went and emailed them, and what did you know.
It worked.
I have a couple accounts reinstated because of this.

Now, I am not stating that doing and going through
this process of trying to get your 5 year old suspended (from date of suspension) account will work 100%, but I can
tell you, I have done it, and it has proven to be true for me.

(By the way, I don't think Pa ypal also carries this same protocol/procedure,
they are way way more strict in terms of accounts/finances, than
any other establishment/organization I have ever come across of)

I really should get paid for this information,
but nah, am not that greedy,
and I am thankful for this site/forum.

A thank you by the persons,
who find this information to be useful,
is enough to suffice. :ranger:

^^^ I will try this when the time rolls around. Thank you for the advice.

@javelin, don't take the comments personally but you can imagine that a ton of info comes out and quite of BS is seen or people say things without confirmation. Now if you can provide some tactical counsel, that's an excellent contribution to the forum.

Anyhow, pretty good if it works - not the same for pa yp al for sure.

oompaloompa 05-06-2011 11:13 AM

ok I was harsh...I was not calling you a liar, I said I was smelling BS UNTIL I HEARD MORE...what I meant was, I find it hard to imagine it is across the board for the majority of perm suspensions, but if your experiments paid off for you then I am glad you posted them....

was it on a major ebay country site? and reasons for suspension have got to have a part to play in any rollover reinstatements, were they minor infringements, did they ask for ID, and I would like to know more too...

Javelin 05-06-2011 02:31 PM

@ Rsot: I wasn't taking it personally Rsotmeister. I understand that it's hard to believe for something such as this to be true, and quite honestly that was how I felt and believed, before I tried this step out.
And from my astonishment, it turned out quite positive.
And yes, I can provide confirmation on this having happened. And if you need it Rsot,
I can forward it to you buddy. And knowing that I am contributing to the forum,
in some little and odd way, it kind of makes it all worth while, to share this information
with those who need it. As sharing is what can make the world a better place to live in.

Btw, long time no see bud Rsot! How are things going for ya down there in good ol' Can0da? ey? Hahaha. Sorry couldn't resist it.

@ Oompah: It's understandable, I do not hold it against you. I was doing
and thinking the same thing when I came across this bit of information.
And yes, they were "indefinite" suspended accounts and I only do business
in eBay USA...

But, due to recent an advice from a friend,
I will have to refrain from posting further information
about the subject in order to protect the nature of such actions
taking place do to me saying so, even though I do not guarantee
that such actions would result in the same positive outcome I experienced.

So, I must request that any and above information,
be made private (not leaving those hands of those who participated
in this thread) and any further inquiries into the matter,
be forwarded to me via PM, and we can move forward from there,
and I'll counsel you through the process on a hand-to-hand case basis.

Agreed?
Good.

Now, everyone have a wonderful weekend.:amen:
