Ebay name variation question!
 

Okay so lets say my name is something like Jimbob McMullan and this name is blacklisted by Ebay due to several suspended accounts or whatever.

Would it be perfectly okay to change it to something like
Jímbob Mc Mulan without arousing suspicion?

Notice i changed the i in Jimbob to an í...

For all of you who dont know here in Ireland English is the most spoken language but Irish is still spoken by a small amount of people and is still recognised and taught in all schools around the country.In Irish there are symbols called fadas which go over the 5 vowels eg. á,é,í,ó,ú

If i were to put one of these fadas over the vowels in my first name and changed my surname slightly would it be recognised by Ebay and flagged as suspicious or would i be safe and completely under the radar?

And would this also work with PayPal too?

I would never personally leave them this similar. If you wanted to stick with your initials then change it up some more.

Jimbob McMullan becomes...

Jimmy Mullanes
James Mull
John McMan
list goes on
etc etc etc

Come up with a name that you are happy would not be linked to your old name if someone was reviewing your account.

Having lived in Kilkee in a past life I would suggest the more you can use Gaelic the better. It will get you where you want to be. PM me if you need help:amen:

But even splitting the surname from McMullan to Mc Mulan< leaving out one L

would surely be okay?

You can vary the name but focus more on the address.

I personally dont even see the purpose of using a name variation it just increases your chances of getting linked.

If the bank accepts debits under a different name from paypal then why not go extra stealth and change yoru name completely?

You should create multiple accounts. Some with slight differences to names and addresses and some accounts with completely different names and addresses.

See what happens for yourself instead of taking my advice all the time :lol:

LA, CA 90006

and it was suspended so can i change it to

1151a samantha st
La CA 9006?

I would say its the same situation with the address as it is with the names! I mean if you have a varied name and address i would think it would be very hard for ebay to link you that way!

4 digit ZIP code in USA? :suspicious:

damm typo you know what i meant. IS that one letter going to make a difference?
