Hi guys,

Ebay have limited my account for selling VERO items.

I now need proof of ID & address, Proof Of Goods, and proof of delivery.

My supplier emailed a scanned copy of an invoice he kindly made me, and also gave me tracking details to his warehouse near me so i can prove I have the goods im selling. But the account is setup using a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address.

Wonder what will happen

Can they know? Sure - will they dive deeper into it? All depends - chances are pretty good that they won't but it will highly depend on what you are selling and how much of a risk you post to eb ay.

Does it breach data protection? Not really - since when you sign up to use eb ay for selling or buying, you have given consent to operate by their rules and policies...

When i setup the account i did by stealth as in my name is real just not same as my origional account.

All details are correct but the address is false. As in its a real address but not mine.

I was thinking of using my driving licence to prove id but edit it so address matches onfile.

I sell Laptops, phones, screen protectors etc. The VERO item was power bracelets that i didnt know where ⊗⊗⊗⊗ cos if i did i would never have allowed my worker to list them.

Yes get creative with the documents. Your items seem ok but electronics is always high risk. Provide all the info and hope for the best.

But what if ebay can verify the details with the DVLNI (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Northern Ireland ) I was suspended for the power bracelets:-(

They won't verify your info in such way, especially knowing that you're not an American.

'Never allowed my worker to list' is no excuse. You are the boss when it comes to the crunch. Geebus, I scratched the bumper on my BW so is the manufacturer to blame :rolleyes:

Listen, dont over analyse what might happen especially out loud.

You got asked for info: you supply the info: it either works or it doess not work. Simples.
