about faxing credit card statement

I used a vcc on ebay and now ebay asked me to fax the credit card statement.I can photoshop it but will ebay check?Or ebay could find out its not real by the first four numbers?

Ebay request the statement must have the first and last 4 numbers of the card.Could i say there is no card number on my credit card statement,would ebay accept other docs instead?

Photoshop it and fax it in eBay will not check it. Been there done that with no problems. :)

P.S. My statement did not even have the last 4 digits of the CC, only had the 4 digits of the bank account- which was made up number and still passed the system.
