Default will the breaches off policy ever really come off???

Just another curious thought- My normal eb account has just had a second 7 day selling suspension. My pp account has not been affected in any way. I have created a stealth account and intend to create a couple more to age and use sensibly. My first breach was a vero one due to come off in sept 2011 but I foolishly relisted items and the second breach was not vero- just ebay removal. My policy compliance is very low but according to my account summary my account will be free of breaches in Nov 2011- will this really happen or will big brother be watching me forever?? The account has 100% postive for 423 transactions- so if I could use it again from nov but obviously use the guide as a basis for running the account this time it would be nice. your thoughts and ideas would be welcome- obviously I would still be keeping this account from being linked just in case!!

Each one of those Ve Ro violations have a 12 month life span on the account until they are removed. After that time period has passed, you are back to normal. Just don't keep getting slapped with Ve RO violations.

Your VERO breach will stay on your eBay file permanently.

File a counterclaim if you dare. In the US, if you don't get sued in Federal court, then it comes off your record. Not sure what happens elsewhere.

Hard to say if they will ever come off your file completely - very doubtful though.

The best thing you can do is let the account cool off for a while.

While thats happening you can get your stealth accounts up and running

Well, yes, Shady makes a good point. Technically, many things don't show up on the user side after a while, but all activity on your account is permanently recorded on eB ay's side.

It does though say that you will be free and clear by date xx xx xx usually a year. However the 90 days comes into play when calculating your power seller or top rated status. Which is based on 3 month history on dashboard.

Btw I have been hit with about 12 vero violations. However they were spread-out and im still top rated Silver power seller..... Time does make a difference.

Thanks guys- think I will just use my old eb and pp accounts to buy from ebay and dhgate and maybe list the odd few low profile items just to keep it ticking over- I was also wondering if using your pp sccount to buy from dhgate sets off any alarms prompting eb to look at your listings- This might seem a little paranoid but i wouldnt surprise me

It certainly does. Use a Pa yP al account that is not linked to a selling account on eB ay or use another form of payment.

My god-they watch everything don't they. From what you have all said even though my account only has a 7 days ban they will be watching me a lot closer forever. I will probably lose this account completely if I continue. Think I will stop with that and slowly build up my stealth accounts. Heres another one for you- If I was to send funds from a stealth pp to my normal pp would it link the two accounts?

I think one hour and 14 minutes is too short a time to ask again

Now that's out of the way, off to the topic:

ebay notes the record & meters out the punishment for whatever period.
At the end of the nominated period, status of the account usually is restored.
Account is clean, good to go BUT....ebay still know you had that little hiccup.
Bear that in mind for the future.

Since it's ebay, there are variations. LOL. An unjustified MC019 takedown can be challenged. (Maybe that's for another time)

Does it mean the end of the account? Not really so long as the account continues to be in good standing. Choice is then up to the user how to manage.
Slow safe selling, increase of feedback & as few transgressions as posible will work.

eta: Just read your last thread. Try at all costs to avoid such a transfer. Once in a blue moon maybe. But really only as a last resort.

Learn a new word quickly LINK. Train yourself not to link accounts in any manner

As GB states sending funds between paypal accounts would not be advisable.

However you can do it on a one-off occasion and usually be fine - and i do mean for a one off.
