Selling clothing from Thailand

Hello, and thank you in advance for your help.

I am looking for advice on the best way to start up some new accounts, that will enable me to sell 200 or 300 items per month from the start. I am selling clothes from thailand that sell for about $25 each. They only cost me $5, so the profit margin is pretty good, but the low cost should not throw up any red flags. None of the items that I sell are name brand, so no red flags there.

I sell primarily to the U.S. and I am American, but I got kicked off of Ebay, after a business partner, "friend" screwed me over, and caused alot of problems for me. So I can't use my own personal information.

I have been selling these items with the help of friends here in Thailand, but their accounts keep getting limited for low DSR's because overseas shipping takes a few weeks, and the buyers don't read that the item comes from Thailand.

I have purchased, and read the Ebay Stealth book, and read many of the posts on this site.

Based on what I have read, I think that my best option is to purchase several verified U.S. Ebay seller accounts.

My question is how long do you think that I will be able to stay under the radar, with these low cost, generic items. I understand that selling high profile items can get sellers limited to 10 items per month. These items are not high profile. I would like to list just under 100 items per account, per month.

I also understand that I will not be able to verify a social security number on these accounts, but they let you sell for a while before they ask for that info.

I plan on listing my items through seller sourcebook, so I won't actually be logging into the account very often. Hopefully that will avoid Ip address problems.

I'm kind of old . . . almost 50, so many of the technical things in the ebook, and on this site are confusing.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome,

I think u are are the right track with having the Ebay Stealth book. everyone was a noob at some point. Do some reading and searching around the forums and you will find allot of your answers. You do have to do some work, no one will just hand you all the answers. If you are making a real effort to read and search on your own then also ask questions in the forums people will help you.

Good Luck to you!

Thanx,
Newtools
