What are you guys using for addresses with so many accts.
 

I know what the book says but what are you guys on here doing that open 10-20 accounts per week. I have heard that many times. I just want a 2nd account and have burned all of the address I have around me family wise. I am using an abandoned house next door right now. the PO delivers mail to me since I told the driver that I am using it for my ebay account. He was fine with it.

Now I want to do another one but dont know how to go about it.

My next door address is 3008 mine is 3010 and the next door the other way is 3028. I have been told that the lot I am on used to be several lots so how would I go about just getting the mail boxes for 3014, 3016, and so on? should I just put a box next to mine with a new address on it and tell the mail man what I am doing? I can look those addresses up on google maps and all show my house so that part is correct.. what would you do here??

Just to let you know, There isn't any reason why you should attach an actual address you have access to on a stealth account unless its for a buyers account....

Because you can change return addresses on your paypal label with ms paint or adobe acrobat.. IMO you should just move on to new addresses.. the stealth way.


OR Nak just posted in a thread, you can use endicia to ship products and change your return address and you will be good to go without actually altering the label :)

What about when paypal or ebay sends mail to it and the person that lives there simply puts return to sender on it? then they get a letter back with something like "person not at listed address" doesnt ebay or paypal then wonder what is going on??

The awards for colored stars. I got an email on my 1st one but a letter on my 2nd saying to download it. I also get a magazine every couple months from ebay.

I talked to the PO today and they said that the PO addresses are given by the city and since the property tax only goes to one address the only way to do it is to go to city hall and resplit the property into different addresses. sounds like a mess and a costly hassle.

I think I am just going to find a house for rent around here and use that. If they get anything from ebay or paypal they surely would just think it was for a previous renter and toss it. PERFECT.

Whatever man, I've been using local McDonald's as my addresses. It's known around these parts that a random local business will get random cheap goodies from China in the mail once in a while.

But no I actually do use random stores around me. Like others said there is no need to actually ever receive the stuff you buy with that account because it's just random junk you buy to get feedback (at least mine is). If there is a return you tell the buyer where to ship it. If they refuse to ship to a different address well then, the local businesses do get some goodies!

Or print out the a detailed map of your entire country down to the last details if that works better for you

Check estate agents web sites for empty shops to let

Find businesses that have just closed down

Old folks homes - they don't usually use EB & PP

Repossessed houses

I use ( empty ) rental houses with actual addresses.

So far not a single problem and if a buyer wants to return something I just let them have it and tell them not to return it.

Unless of course it is high dollar then I work them on a discount or something.

Go to account settings and choose "email only".

Get a membership to foreclosed houses on a website and search addresses! :)

What I use are the white pages from MSN website. I scroll to a certain letter, turn it a few pages and point to any address on there that I like. I find address that are close to my IP address (same city) using phone tethering.

I have never recieved any mail from eb-ay or PP. If customers want to return stuff, I also offer them a discount to send it to my real address. It works for me.

I use zillow. I look up area's i know. I find houses for sale and use the house. Why area's i know? Or sometimes if i don't ill use city data .com for the info...? Sometimes ebay during the q&a will ask you what neighborhood you live in... Like "Great Lakes" etc.. each area of a city has a name now. kinda like "south side" etc.. but that's more vague.. or compton east compton, etc.. i know they are cities but you know what i mean...

i use local restaurants and stores for my stealth address. then i use cute pdf to save it as PDF file. then i edit the "from address part" to mine. just incase the buyer has a incorrect address or any problem it ships back to me.=}

I understand what you guys are saying about address but what if eBay wants you to send in ID paperwork to verify? What do you use for a name? They will want to see a license with the name on the eBay account. That is where I get confused.

I use a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ address. I go to a street near me and count the houses to find a number. Then I put in a number that is missing on a real street. I have had problems before where items have been returned to sender and my return address isn't good. However, that has only happened maybe once out of 200 transactions. Ebay doesn't know the difference. Also if you have to have something returned email the buyer IMMEDIATELY and have them send it to a real address. Say the address on the return stamp is a business or something. Ebay will never know and it won't matter.
