eBay Identity Check System...
 

Who does eBay use for their identity checks on accounts? For example: You have a legit eBay account and you want to raise your limits.

Because the account is legit eBay will give you 4 or 5 questions that you have to answer that they pull out from public records, after you have answered them correctly they raise your selling limits even if you have 0 feedback and the account is brand new.

But who is the 3rd party system they use for these identity checks?

Google eBay and Equifax together see what you get, or type the same in the search up top to get what I posted a few months ago regarding this subject.

Yeah I thought it was Equifax but I thought they used some other third party system for raising the limits. A month ago I made a real account and right away went to raise my limit from 10 or $500 to 100 items to 5000$ and it has worked account had 0 feedback as well, just had to answer like 4 questions which were pulled out the public database. But thanks for your time to reply and answer my question.

This real account was a real real account or a stealth account? I cannot pass stealth accounts on ebay with public record for some reason. Idk why!

I would assume because they are not really able to confirm anything. Maybe none of the above would help you out. It is true that if your 100% using real info and confirm with ebay everything you get 100 items and 5000.00 in sales.

How do I confirm this information with Ebay? Does this limit raise apply in Europe and Asia, or just in the U.S.

I know in the US if you give them a call they simply ask you some questions regarding what type of items you have, how much do you need to list, expectation of sales etc..
