HELP PLEASE my soho66 phone
 

hey guys,
ive just tested my soho66 phone,and im having some problems with it,

when i press the dial tones which i will need to do when dialing in the code for verification it sounds the tone twice,
e.g i press 1,it beeps twice,
i thought it was only supposed to beep once,someone please tell me this is ok!

ive just checked on my mobile aswell and when i press a key it only beeps once so something is not right,anyone else noticed this?

btw im using the 3cxphone on my laptop,not forwarding calls to a mobile or landline!
i suppose i could just hold a phone to the laptop speakers and press the keys?

Sounds like a setting in your router/voip box for sending DTMF. I had a different, but similar, issue and contacted their support. Got an answer straight away that solved my issue.

i give ebay a soho number to call for verification,and it did not call me

i was using it on my laptop but when i rang the number from my house phone it workrd fine?????

If your still having problems with it dude - just get the cheapest pay as you go phone for like £10 or something.

Saves on all this hassle your having with it. Or as the poster above states contact soho66 their customer service is quite good usually. :peace:

I generally use soho66 and route the number to my mobile.

Giving a mobile is a bit of a shortcut really because paypal often require a landline number further down the line.

However it is great that ebay have finally moved with the times and are accepting mobile numbers now.

I use my Soho66 number across the eBay and PayPal account, only use my main mobile for the soho66 numbers to be forwarded to.

how much approx does the soho number cost to set up - ive got my new bank card 2day and remembered i dont have a phone number to give them :doh:

its a minimum of £5 call forwarding credit and its £2 a month for the number,


there are other options also

The call credit can be used for all numbers. Numbers are currently £2 plus Vat (40p) each. I highly recommend soho66.

Do i purchase a phone number & setup call forwarding to my mobile.
