Ebay Robot gives MC115 NOTICE destroying all hope

Received this notice:

MC115 NOTICE: eBay Registration Suspension

After turning a buyer account into a seller account 3 times!! Each seller account was created with a dailup connection with a new user account on my computer. Each one had a Google voice number that forwarded to my cell phone. Each one had a name that was very bland and not clever at all. Each account had a real address. Basically each account was made just as I have made others.

The paypal linked to each was bank verified. And I used a VCC to turn the buyer accounts into seller accounts after 3 days, 4 days, and 5 days...

I just switched to using vpns to dailup. I have read the other posts regarding this type of suspension and I do not see a clear reason. I did browse and these accounts also. Each account was suspended within 3 hours of turning into seller account. Why? Any clues? And yes I own and have read the stealth guide. I in fact have used it to make other accounts. I just don't know if something has changed recently? If tell me why I will give you 2 points!!! thanks.

What did you sell for your first item?

fallman 05-25-2011 09:56 PM

I didn't post anything. Just verified seller account. Then each account was suspended.

That is strange, I make sometimes between 10-30 ebay accounts a day and never seen that and I don't even use different users just clear flash/cookies and change ip. Maybe the address you used was linked to another suspended user.

thanks for responding so fast. Well it was 3 accounts. 1 was new construction. The other 2 random (real) addresses.

jbluntz 05-25-2011 10:40 PM

Above, did you mean you switched to using vpns from dial-up? if you're using a vpn then that could do it, my only other guess would be it's the address since how would you know, no one else used the same address to sign-up?

If you are getting suspended before you even list anything, it has to be something in your reg info or ip address.
Ebay auto bans a lot of public computer address and VPNs, so i would just use your isp and release the modem to get a fresh ip address.
Second thing it could be it the VCC you are using. They could be auto banning the identification prefix (the first 4 digits). Are they all the same VCC from same bank?

I have tried using different vcc's. And I am using dailup. Perhaps its my info I am using. Will pull reg info from different sources and see if that helps.

Dial up is nice - I use it. You using the same info over and over?

If you keeping track of your IPs and not crossing them then it has something to do with the info you are using.

Are you changing your user account on your computer?

Are you using any of the same or similar info on these accounts?

You have to be linking it somehow or using similar or like info.

Start a new user account on your computer and start from scratch just for a test.

Use nothing close to what you have used and get a VCC etc from a seller here.

Double check the IP to make sure it is a fresh one.

Change up the town, address, names etc.

See what happens.

This happened to me.... well I got MC010
I bought the account here and followed all steps carefully as I have several stealth already. I usually use a address within the area of the dial-up number. This time the account seller made a mistake and gave me an address across the country even though I requested different. Now bam! Account limited. I don't think its a coincidence that my dial-up number was way off from my actual location.

No I dont list vero either.

Oh no...I completely didn't think of this. My stealth account was located in Colorado and I'm in South Carolina. No wonder I was immediately limited.

Ugh...that's a nice waste of money.

Peace,

Chip

I've been running accounts from all over the US for like a year now, no problem, I think it has more to do with the activity on the account since it was made and the first item you sell(price range, risk etc.) that sets it off.
