Amazon Why Can't I use Combined Modem & Router
 

Hi there I'm using vmware for amazon and wondering why it says in amazon ghost I cant use my combined modem & wireless router. With vmware it gives the computer a new mac address and I can spoof the mac of my wifi adapter. And in the control panel for the modem/router I can change the mac to get a new ip address. I use it for ebay and it works great so just wondering why I cant use it here. Thanks

I would also appreciate some info on combined router modems. I have completely replaced mine ( but it is still combined) I understand everything else I need to do as I have read the amazon ghost book but can't figure out regarding the router/ modem addy if it is enough to simply replace it, is the mac address on the actual combined router/modem? (it is an orange livebox)
