Curious and slightly jealous!!!!
 

I have been monitoring this seller on eb@y for a while now and wanted to know what you guys think. The first thing is that the seller is from malaysia, but somehow manages to list as coming from USA. The second is that they always list a quantity of 5 or 3 available- but as buyers bid the quantity never goes down.

They buy a load of items for less than $1 to build up between 15-20 feedback before listing and open a shop immediately. They sell for a week and them list again on another account. The seller is obviously into stealth to a point- new photos, item descriptions etc but I found it quite easy to link their accounts and see that it is the same seller.

I am simply curious as to how they can list that something as being sent from usa when then seller is in malaysia. This seller can sell 50+ of these items in a week for around £40 each- where are eb@y limits? Lastly how does the quantity never go down? I would use this if I knew as obviously if a buyer wants an item and thinks there are not many left they are more inclined to buy.

The seller must have loads of accounts like. As they are selling f@kes in such a large scale after each account is used to sell there is now way they could sell on it again due to the negative feedback. This seller must be burning one account a week man!!!!!!

Sorry if these accounts belong to a forum member. Curiousity has got the better of me. I am also quite new to forum so please correct me if I have said anything I shouldn't have- still getting to grips with the do's and don'ts. I was going to say what they are selling but not sure if I am supposed to. If I am allowed let me know. Just wondering if you guys had any thoughts on this.:pop2:

Regardless, you seem to have a lot of info on the seller - might as well either try and emulate him or do your own thang.

I'm also watching a group of accounts by the same seller, all foreign registrations listing on the US site with items in the US. This one is not as careful with his listings but he's selling legit products, dropped shipped from one of the larger etailer in the U.S. Based on prices and some of his account locations, I suspect CC fraud is involved.

You can change the quantities at will with a BIN listing. I frequently list with 10+ available to get watchers, then drop and keep 3 to drum up sales.

For accounts with the 100/$5k limit. You could easily sell 200 items if you time the listing. The quota rolls over on the calendar month so one can potentially sell 200 items next Tuesday to Wednesday.

His quantity never goes down because he will revise the item to put the quantity back up when he sells some.

Check his item revisions.

This is quite bizarre. This seller has sold 12 of one item alone today but doesn't have one FB as a seller. How can that be?

Can't understand what you think they are doing...they are just revising their quantity. That seller sold 50 items in the last 5 days but has no seller feedback, their is an obvious reason.

Dig deeper ShadyOne - this is one seriously good stealther. This guy really knows what he's doing and must be in front of the pooter 24/7 to run all those accounts as he is. Serious respect:pop2:

On the feedback, he has only just sold items in the last 5 days (50 items) and his delivery times are 13-25 days estimate. That explains why he has no seller feedback yet.

All of his accounts are 2009

Still can't see where you are going with this GT.

My first thought was he is either aging accounts (pointless) or buying his accounts, though someone with experience in stealth wouldn't really need to buy accounts.

One of the ones I was watching was 2010 shady/granny. I have realised now that they are revising the quantities. They must be sitting on eb@y 24/7. They only have 3 listed and today sold 3 within about 10 minutes so must be revising fast- But I still am interested in how they are avoiding restrictions. The accounts are not that old. Their first sales are fifty plus vero items in a week- I wish!!!!!

You are right- he is not a great stealther otherwise we would not have noticed. When the current listings end- search for the product next week and you will find them. The item location gives them away plus the feedback is always the same- 15-20 buying fb- items less than $1.

It seems like he has endless stealth accounts. It is unlikely that he will be able to reuse most of them due neg fb I see he has started receiving on previous listings. This guy is hardcore. Wonder if he has any accounts for sale-lol.
