I still think recording an IP address is quicker than changing routers
I assume you still check your IP address though to see if it has changed?

Well I'm glad you got to see what you wanted lol.
Nope! The connection has been broken and put into a router which has no power in it, so there's no way that the IP could hold.
And there's no way recording IP addresses is quicker than switching routers. How long does your process take you?

LOL ok but you have do more than just copy and paste the IP?
I'm guessing it probably goes something like...
1. Walk to router, Knock router off and back on
2. Walk to computer, open up IP site, copy IP and paste into database.
3. Search current database for the same IP
4. If no match log on to the account
That about right?

When I'm switching I reset the router, log off and then log on. By time the user account is open the new IP is up in IPBurger. I can see what littlemorestealth means about time but it really is not an issue. Seconds don't count in stealth. I think it's just a case of what you're happy using. From what I've read from you two there is no advantage from one way over the other - they both work so it's a case of whatever gets you through the night
That bit of the thread closed maybe???? | |

You hijacked the OPs thread,
I put my two granddaughters to bed an hour ago. I didn't expect childish talk on an adult forum at this time of night.
Suggest you look on ebay for a new attitude - you need it!

That about right? | Errr close but it is
1. Remote reboot (I'm lazy)
2. Click copy on IP
3. Paste into excel
That is all I do lol
My browser displays my IP and automatically alerts me when my IP address changes, so I don't use an IP site at all.
Excel also alerts me if the IP address has been used with an account before, so no effort on my part.

Originally Posted by awww Hi, I had used paypal UK for more than 4years. We make sales over 10000Pounds/Month. My work partner had been banned/limited due to "high Risk" a year ago. So we decided to use my paypal to collect sales instead.
Everythings went good. However, My account is limited due to a High risk too. I rang explain to them again and again. We had no case, no claim, 99+% possitilve in ebay. And Paypal claims that I AM LINKED TO my work partner, that is the reason they terminated the business relationship with me FOR LIFE. which sounds extremely ridiculous to me.
So after a week of nightmare with PP, I decided to use my girlfriends ebay and paypal account to start everything again. Her account is verified for 4+ years and I had follow every steps in the stealth ebay guide to avoild and linkage to my previous limited account.
I had new named ebay shop, new listing, new address, new banks, new phone.(all belongs to my girlfriends.) when I log in PP I will log in to another window users, which make sure PP cant trace me with flash object. PLUS I will change my IP with a online paid VPN service.
Unfortunately, this only works for a month. our sales easily pass the 1700pounds limited. My girlfrieds driving licence and passport works well for the first PP identity check. Sadly weeks ago Paypal suddenly ask for invoice and tracking. I had upload everything genuinely. All tracking were trackable on Fedex/DHL. I had no case on the ebay resolution centre and Paypal either, 100% positive feedback. And Paypal had terminate relationship me my girlfriends account too.
WHY? what did i done wrong? why does paypal found out our linkage? | for that amount your making per month you will need alot of time and alot of accounts if the items you sell are high risk items.
