Forced to add credit/debit card before listing first item
 

I linked my new paypal to new eBay and just tried to list first item. eBay made me add debit/credit card to continue. I don't know what to do or why they are asking for this? It says the billing address on the card must match my Paypal details. Any info on what to do here??

Use a physical gift credit card registered in the address of your account.

Okay, so any gift credit card is ok and I have to register it to the same stealth address as on my Paypal? Also, does this mean my fees will have to be paid using this or can I just use Paypal to pay the fees?

You can use this card to pay your fees yes - or paypal - best to use this card - when this card is close to zero - you use a diff card for instant payment =)

Okay, thanks. But even when I select to use Paypal to pay the fees it asks me to add a credit/debit card. Why is this?? : (

Can just buy an ebay vcc or paypal vcc, msg me if your interested or check out my store thread link below.

Everyone has to have a back up form of payment.

This is not just you who has to do this, it is everyone.

Look around the forum, some gift cards do not work.

There is a thread showing which ones will and which ones wont.

Very important the addys etc all match.

Correct, your PP and Bay addresses have to match. Make sure that you either write or document somehow ALL that you do and enter with ANY account! Very important!

Please take your time! NEVER rush into Stealth...no matter how important it is to make a dollar. If you hurry into Stealth-PP, you may fail. If you fail, you get discouraged. If you get discouraged the you quit. Think about it....

Take your time, Read Stealth, Document what you do & Match!.!

I do not want to come across as being rude but if you take the time to read through several pages of this section you will learn all of this by just reading.

This is one of the easiest parts of going stealth and it must be learned or you will be doing it all for nothing.

Buy the book also.

Everything must match or it will kick out.

For you not to even understand that everyone has to have a credit card on file tells me that you need to do a lot of reading.

The reading and some note taking will help you become successful at this.

Ideally you have paypal fully verified B4 you started to list.

ebay/paypal are not going to let any seller list away with some sort of security for themselves.

make sure you pay attention to waterproof's post.
Have each & every bit of info written dowm.
DOB, password. You may need that at some stage.
Log your IPs , set up user accounts (if required)

Noted, thank you :) However, if its a real debit card with my real address, cantt you just type the same house # and zip code and it will still go through? Thought I read that somewhere on here before that that is all they check?

^ That is all an address is technically. So you would be linked when using real (suspended) information like that.
