Hello guys I have a problem and I know you can help me out. I had an ebay and paypal account which was shared by my brother and me.

Well I started selling vero items and got suspended. So I started using an old ebay account of mine and started buying and selling on it and used a friends paypal account to process the transactions. So I sold like a month ago and forgot to pay the seller fees ebay closed the account. its been a month since my fees were due. My friend also has a ebay account and we both share her paypal account.
So since I dint pay the seller fees ebay limited her seller account to 10 items/500 dollars a month. I know I have to pay the fees which is only ten dollars.

But they are telling me to set up a payment reimbursement method and that i owe them 60 dollars for them reimbursing a seller a year ago. Do I just pay these fees with my friends paypal so they can lift the limit off her account.
Also I plan to stop using this account and go stealth but the only reason I am considering paying the fees is because my friend is linked to this account.

So once its in good standing Im thinking of closing it but I dont know if I should use it for buying since I hear you shouldnt buy with a stealth account. So what do you guys think?

Don't pay the fees with a diff account - use a gift credit card. You might be reinstated if that's the only thing but with eb you can never tell.

As for buying with a stealth account, I do that - as long as you can receive things at your address, what's the problem?

You owe 60 dollars, just pay them.

Here's my help.

Use a card to pay what is owed on your friend's account like rsot said. Stay well away from using any paypal at all.


Friend's account is now in trouble because you have O/S fees. NEVER do business with a friend. The payment is no guarantee the account will be fully restored for your friend. That's a known trick of paypal/ebay.

What to do: pay the money. Take as a lesson learnt.
Move onwards with your OWN accounts. Share the responsibilities with just YOU.
It is an urban myth that buying can not be done with a stealth account. Properly created, there should be no problem :pop2:
